I ass dyno'd some t4 yesterday back to back with 93 I know people will say I'm nuts but the t4 added power and throttle response... I noticed it the most when rolling on the throttle in 3rd gear..
T4 is oxygenated so it will add power. Enrich the fueling and you'll make even more power. Advertised Stoich is 13.54, so if you map about 8% richer should be best.

What is the toque spec on the two nuts on the exhaust flange? I looked through my book and it’s not listed and I don’t have the service manual. Installed a PC Ti-6 yesterday and it’s the only torque value I’m missing. Any help would be appreciated

You might find that it's easier to ride even tho it makes more power. If it's a little lean, the combustion gets a little erratic and the torque fluctuates more. Getting the AFR right will smooth that out and make it more predictable, even tho it makes more power

Where are you guys finding the best OTD prices in the Southwest. I don’t mind driving to Utah, AZ, or SoCal for a straight up good deal! I’m in Vegas and stopped by Carter Motorsport yesterday and the guy was excited to bring me a 8999 quote... I laughed at him!

No Toil has the screen less air filter cages available now. Put one on yesterday and there was a noticeable increase in Throttle response, and the filter seemed to fit in the air box better

The bike was definitely more explosive, I do need to have it remapped

That's high as hell! I just bought mine for $7290 plus 7% Indiana sales tax.

Yeah I know that’s why I laughed at him... and that’s about what I was thinking would be a fair deal. Guess I’m going to have to go old school and start calling around Dealers within reasonable driving distance from me.

Are you running the cage with a flame-resistant filter?

I do have a few of them, but to be honest I run the non flame resistant filters also. It’s very rare these days for these bike FI to backfire....🤷🏻‍♂️

I think I'd take the risk as well, and my bike hasn't. Where did you get the cage from? Can't seem to find it on notoil.com

I tried scanning through most of the pages and couldn’t find if the rear spring from the 16-18 will fit, I made my decision to move on from my 16 and will strip all of my factory Kawi raceteam parts off and either sell in the bazaar or use on the 19. I believe all I can use is the Rekluse Torque drive internals with new cover and that’s about it? I assume the front rear sprockets will be good to transfer over as I have a good stock of front and rear Renthal sprockets and my current DID ERT2 chain with 2 rides and figured that would be good to go.

any info would be appreciated on what will and won’t transfer!

Thanks guys

Clifnotes:

Rear spring will work. It's a little long, but works fine.

Clutch internals will work. Gear needs to be switched out tho. Be careful of the oil pump gear when you put the basket in.

Sprockets will work.

I had a 2016 and was able to switch the Torque drive pack, chain and sprockets, bars and mounts and foot pegs to the 2019. I don't know about the clutch covers. Chain guides and sliders are different.

Anyone have an issue with their Rekluse clutch making strange noises? Mine makes a strange whirling noise but I only hear it when in the air, while jumping. I’m also running the Rekluse Radius CX Auto clutch but it has some similar internals as the Rekluse Torque Drive. I do have the TM slider and chain guide and I greased the upper chain roller... It’s strange, the clutch function fine but makes this noise in the air. I have not done the clutch rod mod but I don’t think that’s the problem, it makes noise from the first lap and I really don’t ride that hard anymore... +50 vet rider... Also, I never heard this noise on my 2016.

Probably the lower tm roller thing is noisy in the air until it wears in.

Man that would be great if it were the lower roller... is the stock roller much more quite? If so, I might throw that on for a ride just to confirm it’s the roller. I did all the mods over the winter and never got to ride the bike in stock form. Usually I like to do one mod at a time and test as I go but I decided to do the whole bike over the winter while following this thread... thanks for all the tips and good info guys!!!

Yeah I'd bet money that's it. Mine freaked me out too thought something was wrong.

Sounds like the noise I’m picking up on my 16 when it gets hot. I am not sure about the new motor with hydraulic clutch but the fix in the older design was 100cc extra oil. There was another modification to the pushrod on the right side of the motor, I never did that since the extra oil seems to be working!

That noise can still happen but usually after a moto and I shift to first only had it once on 19.
