Kenny is a good dude. Met him quite a few times and years ago he even showed up at a back yard 50 race we had.

He seems like he's a good dude that is willing to help people. I felt bad the last podcast when he said he dealt with depression for a little bit, because anyone that can relate knows depression is no joke.

That said, I get annoyed often when he's on the show. He cuts the guests off more often than not. He interrupts the flow of the show more often than not. I was so annoyed just wanting to listen to Tedesco talk. He'd tell Tedesco to tell the story, then him and Bentley would end up telling it.

For me Watson adds to the PulpMX podcasts. Those shows with Watson or Berluti are the ones that I listen through all 4 hours.
I agree. Kenny is real and a bit crazy. His box van stories are epic. His stories in general are epic. His articulation is pitaful but just adds to his character.

Sounds like Kenny went through some hard times recently. He even talked about contemplating taking his life. Hope he continues to find strength to battle through his demons.

Always turned off the show when Kenny was on before, now hearing he went thru his addictions struggels for years and depression it makes sense the way he was before, he used to have more slurry speech, kinda a dbag presence IMO and took away from the show. Plus I remember steve saying he would fall asleep sometimes too. But I will say him being clear minded is a new version I like. Also Kyle is a bad ass, I met him a few times when he wrenched for Jimmy Wilson and he would ride with us at come local tracks. I like how Kyle didnt hold anything back, didnt give a fuck who he blew out. Nice change of pace on some things.

We meet Kenny when he was working for Utopia and he helped us out lots with product and support at the time.
One year at the Stlouis SX we sat next to him in the press box and you could have not asked for a better dude!

He needs a podcast with GL, so they can get drunk and spend 4 hours interrupting each other, instead of doing it to the guests on otherwise quality shows.

I’d have to disagree I loved when Watson was on the show. Always put Steve in his place. When Watson left I felt like Steve went on a negative spell for a while. Still an awesome show but missed the banter after he split.

Kenny is one hell of guy. Unbelievably raw, honest and open. That was one of the most entertaining pods I’ve listened to in a while.

covered every aspect of emotions and went deeper into the industry than I could have imagined.

Anyone who could say anything bad about him needs to look in the mirror.

LMAO! Even Tedesco was annoyed with him during the podcast. There's a reason he's no longer in the industry.

Nice to hear that he has somewhat overcome mental illness, massive respect for that!

One thing i heavily disagree with him on is his take on the industry and how you get screwed over by "friends" . I'm 100% with Matthes on that topic, it's called life and you'll find the exact same thing everywhere. Pretty surprising that Kenny still doesn't realize that.

If I were to guess why he still is disappointed in people, I'd bet it's because he feels he would never abandon anyone and can't reconcile why anyone would do that back to him. That's a deep subject and not one that we all have the same experience with through our lives.

In small does I can handle him. News flash Pulp mx was on for a looong time with KW and will be with or without him. The negativity is lame and interrupting guests is intolerable, same reason I can’t make it through a whiskey throttle show. Three guys talking over each other and Pingree sucking his teeth is annoying as hell. I prefer Mathes JT and wedge

Props to Kenny on the July 8 Pulp MX Show for talking openly about what he went through, and what he learned about himself when RCH folded up shop. I always thought Kenny was "entertaining", but that was about it. My admiration for him has grown and I hope he does well going forward.

From personal experience I think Watson is spot on, The industry is a little like I would imagine a traveling carnival, the haves are doing okay, the rest are fighting and scratching to exist and people get screwed more out of necessity than out of them being bad people.
