You say this but then post weekly videos of you jumping while turned into corners landing halfway on the berm on MESX? Nothing about those games are close to realism besides the graphics and the authentic teams.

So what's your point.

Not all of us play that way spode, I try my fucking hardest to slow this game down and yet still feel punchy, tires slippery, suspension nice and hucky. etc. etc. etc.

Thanks to Picklock, I finally found it

Anytime! Also, if you want more realism, try tuning the tires way over to the left. Lots of understeer/oversteer, and actually need to rely on ruts & berms. Plus, you can pull off some sick scrubs Wink

Essentially what I am suggesting, is ditch tuning all together (or at least limit the hell out of it), put everyone on a level playing field (which would make it uber competitive), and go back to the old Mx Unleashed days of either Normal or Realistic difficulties.

The discrepancies between tunes right now is insane. For purposes of E-sports as well, a pure skill vs. skill game would be much more enjoyable IMHO.

Sincerely,

- Someone who Beta tested the f*** out of your game (I am not the only one), and marketed it for free when others shit dog turds on it

P.S. can some dudes at least get a T-shirt, maybe a grand ole invite to at least say thanks? I got like 3-4 cats that I think definitely deserve it.

I play on ps4 but only offline. My internet isn’t great and it’s all I can get where I live unfortunately. With a realistic tuning the hard and all time setting are pretty good lap time wise. I still usually win races but if enough mistakes are made it’s not guaranteed, it’s not like before when you’d be laps ahead of the ai.

I’d guess online you’d get smoked using a realistic tune. It does sound like a good idea to be put into lobbies with guys who play the game in a similar style.

They seem to be trying to make it possible for everyone to have the experience their looking for. I like what I think the majority of players like, a more realistic game. They also allow for a more arcade experience for those who like to play that way. This sounds great but the two styles of gameplay don’t really mix together well.

The best answer to make it good racing for everyone would be two steps. First the ai needs to be fine tuned a little more and each level of difficulty has a definite difference in skill level. This way you can pick the ai that is competitive for your style of gameplay and skill. This would allow all players to enjoy a good championship series also. The second would have to be a way to put players in lobbies of similar skill or gameplay preference.

They’re doing a lot right with this game. With the proper tuning and not using game exploits it can be way more realistic than many seem to realize. We’ve all said it a bunch of times but the game has a learning curve and the tuning makes a difference. I understand some will never like the game but I think at least some are stuck with the initial impression they had and this game has come a long way since the game came out.

The graphics in this picture look a lot sharper? Unless they just doctored up the image before putting it out there. Who knows. But it looks like we will get some info this month.

"The graphics in this picture look a lot sharper?"

Probably in 4k from an X1X/PS4 Pro.

Hey guys,

I hold 95% of the leaderboards on PC which from what I can tell for the most part are higher than PS4/Xbox as well. Here is the tune I'm currently using for the 450F:

Most of my leaderboard times are posted on YouTube along with controller layout so you can see what my hands are doing. Hopefully this helps out! Here is my channel.

Thanks for sharing the tune, Epic. Although, I have a slight feeling you are going to get a lot more competition soon Wink

That would be awesome, but don't think it will happen this time around. What I meant was, I believe the next dlc will bring a lot of vets, and newcomers alike, back to the game.

This is a genuinely good video. One of the most helpful videos to date. Includes a very competitive tune, and a realistic tune that I have slaved and slaved over. I hope you all will enjoy. Definitely watch it in its fullest if possible.

Thank you,
Daniel

My guess: Finally getting some kind of national tracks or getting old tracks from previous games. Maybe a track editor if the video game gods show us favor.

I'm all for more competition! That's what this game needs more of and will do what I can to help anyone get there.

Cross platform is not really a technical limitation but more a decision made by the companies making the consoles. It never hurts to press the game developer to try and achieve cross platform, as maybe with enough noise about it Rainbow/THQNordic will push Microsoft/Sony into enabling it. The boost in players would be great as both Xbox and PS4 have bigger populations than PC.

I definitely prefer a realistic set up. With proper tuning and shifting realistically it has a much more sim feel. I agree completely it can be tuned for better lap times but to me it gives the game more of an arcade feel and that’s not what I’m looking for. I think most players would prefer more sim than arcade but for those who race online the realistic approach may not leave you very competitive.

The ai on all time works fairly well with a realistic tuning. They are still a little bit reckless and crash fairly often. It’s not really that hard to win races against them because of that but they are way more competitive than they used to be. I hope they work the ai a little more at some point. Besides a realistic bike setup we need competitive ai who are pro riders we make in braap. To be able to have a competitive series against real pro riders who in real life are the front runners would give the game a more sim feel also.

This game is going in a really good direction. The game continuously keeps getting better. I really appreciate the work they are putting into this game and the fact they listen to our ideas and suggestions.

This game needs to be more player friendly to us regular guys. I can play on medium and beat them by a mile, then I switch it to hard and they just continually slam me off the track from every direction. This game would be more playable if you could get in and mix it up and not get slammed, but I loose interest when I’m either winning by a mile or slammed into last place. Just trying to leave positive feedback in my perspective.

Agreed. This is a good tune. I think the game is still too fast but other than that it is really hitting on all cylinders. So props to the team for the hard work. It's came a long, long way.

Excited for the DLC. Going to be really, really cool. Smile

RedBud at the very least, maybe the whole Lucas Oil Championship? Possibly 2019 as they're doing the track fly throughs for this season.

Going to be neither. They've done sponsored track layouts in previous years, doesn't mean anything. They are not going to announce a full Lucas Oil Championship and tracks simply as a DLC to this existing game. If they did it, it would be an entirely new game and would be a main advertising and selling point.

If I had to guess, I'd guess some old tracks from previous titles.
