Dick planes? I always thought mine was more of a helicopter. Come to think of it, though, I have had to hand prop it on occasion, and you can’t do that with a helicopter.

Somewhat related, and I wish I could have been able to take picture, but last year sometime at an SRA GP at Glen Helen, there was this guy on an old XR-200. Jeans, long sleeve shirt, hard plate and lights on the bike. Keep in mind the course was doing the full uphills and downhills of the main track . . . and he just had the biggest smile on his face after the race. No, he wasn't super fast, but he was stoked all to hell. It struck me that THAT is what is all about. Hell, yeah.

There is an older gentleman who races her is socal on an older (late 70's early 80's YZ) and he wears an open face helmet and a dusk mask. Dude seems stoked everytime i have talked to him.
