As a southern Californian, I would sure like to go ride a track some day that is surrounded in grass!

We actually had an eastern style grass track one year for a national, Escape Country.
I was lucky enough to help hang track banners there, bright green grass was two feet tall through the entire valley.
it’s a housing development now of course, Coto De Caza, Decoster lives there I think...

It was probably a race in March or April. Southern California only has wild green grass for about 6 weeks per year, each spring.

Haven't been to High Point since the eighties but I have a vivid amateur day memory of some kid on a blazing fast YZ80 named Bradshaw. I swear to god he could have podiumed the 125 class on that thing the way he rode it. I also remember my brother puking just as the first moto left the gate on Sunday. We had a little too much fun on Saturday night Wink
