RIP youngin. So sad. Being a parent, and empathizing with this family is heartbreaking. Prayers going up.

Hate hearing this type of stuff. Feel for the family.

It happened not very far from me at what I believe is the sight that hosts the Tomahawk GNCC. Local news is saying he died in a MX race, which it wasn't. Tomorrow they are having lawyers come on the news to talk about liability.

It was a Hare Scramble a very poorly run one, there was multiple kids hurt also adults. I never seen the ambulance leave the track so many times before.

Rest in peace little man. My kids run D6. I heard about this race and how bad it was run. As a father of two who race, I can't imagine what that family is going through. I heard rumors of people going off a waterfall and some other crazy hills that A class were struggling with.

It was NOT at Seneca Highlands, the site of the Tomahawk GNCC. IT was at a farm a few miles away.

Thanks for the correction. The local coverage is not very accurate. They keep saying mx race and no mention that he was on a wheeler. Lawyers on the news appear to be licking their chops. They were going on about who's liable, talking about waivers, property owners, promoters and even the ATV manufacturer of the machine he was on. Can only hope that this was truly a tragedy not negligence.

WETM Local news station out of Elmira NY is where I've seen it talked about. I've heard some other rumors but are not verified, so for now I'll just assume they are just that, rumors.
