Has anyone ever customized your helmet with a Sharpie?

I’ve got a great looking blue/orange TLDSE4 but the orange sometimes wears on me. It’s a little loud, I’m older and ride blue.

I took a sharpie and blacked in the orange accents on half my visor to try it. I have another visor so I can go back.

Part of me thinks what the hell, let’s try it, it’s looks ok and the other part thinks I just made an SE4 look bush league.... what do you think?

Couldn’t agree more with the last part of this... do what you want! nothin cooler than havin a helmet that’s different from the 1000s of other guys with the exact same layout...

If you are going all the way with this idea, use a paint pen as it will give a much better result if you have a steady hand.

I've masked off a section and cut out a design and my number and then used spray paint. Hobby stores sell a ton of cool colors.

I thought for sure you were going to show the results of an unsupervised 3 year old, some markers, and your now "customized" helmet. Wink

I've been tempted to buy a couple sheets of vinyl and cut piece to piece together a home made wrap. I'd like to do it all black with an orange and black checkered pattern on the visor.

Never done it, but I really want to get my buddy who did these for me with a sharpie to do a helmet.
