Looks like you had Graeme Brough do your suspension?

What improvements over the stock set up do you notice?

If you never rode it with the stock settings, how do you like the overall feeling that GB achieved for you?
I rode 30minutes on the stock suspension and came up short on a double and bottomed the bike out so hard I thought I blew my knee out again. I’m also 6’5 265lbs so I’m probably not one to judge the stock settings lol. But I love my suspension now, Graeme is extremely easy to work with and before I bought this bike I hadn’t ridden in 7years since I blew my knee out in AX and I just told him some basic info I liked back in the day and he did his thing. I blew a seal out a couple weeks ago and I’m new to this area so I wasn’t sure who to take it to and Graeme basically gave me a run down of how to do it and I did the seals myself. If you are thinking about using Graeme I wouldn’t hesitate one bit he usually always answers my questions quickly. Great dude

finally getting rid of the bazooka. i had the Yosh a couple months ago, but i swear it was bigger than the stocker. i sent it back. ended up going with the fmf instead. are you guys remapping for your exhaust? think i'm just going to run it as is...

I didn’t do a thing to mine. Just bolted it on and rode and love it. The green decal is sweet!

Graeme is an awesome dude who I wouldn’t hesitate to work with. I’m so excited to try out my yz250 with showa kit suspension that has his settings in it ive honestly forgotten about my 19 kx. I’ll probably end up eating my lunch on my PC suspension on the 19, shock with my kit internals works good, forks are harsh. Going to give them another day or two with more clicker changes but they pack pretty bad.

Lol I had PC do my 16 and the first time I hit breaking bumps it's bounced me off the track it was so harsh. Felt like someone hit my handlebars with a hammer too ?. They don't test on the east coast apparently.
PC did my 16, 49mm spring showa kit forks from back 2010 era, and the corresponding shock. Bones himself did it and it was quite frankly the best setup i've ever ridden. I told them to give me the same dampening curve / hydraulic stiffness as that forks settings, but make any necessary tweaks they see fit to suit the 19 chassis to give me that "feel". The new guy there removed the shock check valve (although it seems to be working fairly well), but the forks suck. Component wise the 19 stock fork is much better fork than the older A kit forks I had on the 16.

I was probably expecting to much from the tac forks they just suck. When I had the sff air a kit and shock on there they did pretty good besides the normal air feel.

The 2019 footpegs brackets are about $75.00 each list. The steel brackets from the earlier KX450F and KX250F are interchangeable. The list for the earlier brackets is about $35.00 each.

Do the earlier mounts have the ability to lower to pegs also like the 2019's?

If you look at the parts diagrams of 18 vs 19, they share the same bolt pattern so I'd assume yes. This is my first Kawi though so I can only go off of that.

Gallatin. Right outside Nashville. Any good tracks down there? Seems to be around 2hr minimum to ride a track here so I’m not afraid to travel

All you guys complaining about the chain rollers must be new to Kawasaki, yes they suck, so does the chain guide! I use a upper roller from my 2006 KX250 and it works great, I couldn’t get the lower to work so I just order an extra OEM one every time I need a filler to get to 75 dollars for free shipping from RM ATV. it’s not perfect and kinda lame that Kawi can’t figure it out but if all we have to complain about are chain rollers and guides I would say the bike must really be good!

***Spam Alert***

We are now selling a billet start button for the 2019 KX450. It mounts to the back of the brake perch, and connects to the wire harness with a waterproof OEM connector. Completely plug-n-play, no cutting wires or crimp connectors.

Website link in my signature, search "KX450". Thanks!

I'm glad I asked because I'm also seeing a clutch slave guard that I can't seem to find, and I'm worried about a chain snap causing issues there. What is that? Looks like Rekluse but I don't see it on their site. I might be "challenged".

I installed a Rekluse Radius CX Auto Clutch. I’ve run the Rekluse Auto Clutch on my last few 450’s and love them, it’s almost like cheating but at 50 years old I’ll take any advantage I can get...lol
Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to ride this new 19 KX450 yet. MX Tech here in Illinois did the suspension so it should be ready to go. Now it just needs to stop raining!!

Rekluse Radius CX auto clutch. It functions just like a regular clutch but makes it almost impossible to stall the bike. It helps me lug/carry a higher gear. It’s a nice upgrade for vet riders like myself.
