It's all in how you see it. I lean toward quad but I can understand people seeing triple. The revised diagram below doesn't change speed or distance at all but one thing is for sure, the consequences would be MUCH bigger.
1. Not cool because he came in from off the track
2. Not cool because supposedly Bubba could jump it on his rocket bike that defies physics right out of the corner
3. Not cool because it’s only a “triple”
4. Not cool because someone else did it first
5. Anyone who thinks it’s a quad is entitled.
This is just fan-fucking-tastic right here, well done gentlemen and best of luck in the coming pages.
I was actually wondering what would happen to his ankles if he would have cased it...
For example you can double two singles or your can "double" a tabletop. Who says I singled that tabletop? Nobody.
You can either jump on top of it, thereby singling it, or you can clear it and therefore double it.
If you have a single, single, then table, and jump over the entire section, you are doubling the first two, tripling to land on the table like YZ125 guy did, or quadding to land on the downside of the last jump... IMHO. I truly get both sides of the argument, and don't really care because distance is all that really matters.
Anyone could quad 50' of singles and nobody would be impressed. Regardless, this jump looks pretty gnarly.
A single has 2 sides to it. A double has 4 sides to it. A triple has 6 sides...right? A table top has 2 sides. This shit ain't rocket science. A table top is a single. Fuck...IDK, but it sounded like a good argument.
Downslope of 1st jump
Flat area b/w 1st & 2nd jump
Face of 2nd jump
Downslope of 2nd jump
Flat area b/w 2nd jump & tabletop
Top of tabletop
Downslope of tabletop
7 jumps ? = septuple
Your welcome
A tabletop is never a double because there is no risk factor.
Unless a site lap if you jump a single tabletop and land on top, I've gotten more air on the toilet after eating a 10 pack of tacos from taco bell.
Thw only thing being doubled is the dose of Pepto Bismol!
Pit Row
I have 2 tabletops that are about 17 meters(about 55 feet) across with a 9 meter or so (about 30 feet) in between.
A local pro doubles over both tabletops. Nobody has every called it a quad. Not once. Simply because it is two jumps.
It won't ever be a quad unless I take out the centers.
What now?
C’mon guys, check yourself
