I was going to say something rude and probably inappropriate, and then I remembered the documentary about him where he is nodding off from painkillers while his son is trying to get his attention.

I just hope he heals up so he is healthy and alive for his family.

I don't condone what he did on the beach. But I won't wish harm on him.

I do feel for his son, and whole family.

Opiates suck. I used to have a friend who abused opiates... he stole a Corvette and crashed it, paralyzing his passenger. He also made a lot of choices that resulted in him not being involved in his daughters life.

It's hard seeing kids suffer because of their parents. I may not agree with Larry but I don't want anything bad to happen to anyone's father.

It's called a Jackson Pratt drain and they are normally placed after surgery. Could be a routine surgery to a collapsed lung. Who knows?
