Yeah, they were a bit underprepared for sure.

It was the very 1st time in Nashville ever... so it still went well. I've been to a lot of events at LP Field/Nissan Stadium and it wasn't too bad, but I don't think they were expecting the crowd they got. It was probably 30-40k. I'd say 30k conservatively and tshirts were selling out easily.

Seems like I remember the same thing happening at Tampa last year, they also ran out of food at some places. Maybe the stadium staff just doesn't know how to judge the crowd for their first event.

I was at the Tampa race yeah it was bad they completely ran out of everything lol
I ended up with burnt cheesecake fries and a diet Coke, it was all I could find until the main events started lol. Pretty sad since the attendance wasnt even that great.

the real travesty is not knowing whether to take a Landscape or Portrait photo and settling on a diagonal shot

The exact opposite of the experience at San Diego SX. They have nearly every stand and vendor open for business. There's enough alcohol available to get the entire stadium hammered.

After going to Atlanta and St. Louis the last 15 years, I was underwhelmed by Nissan Stadium Saturday. Hopefully they improve if the series continues to come here. Open more concessions for practice and maybe a second gate so it doesn't take so long to get in the stadium. Sunday was a complete shit show. No communication between the stadium staff and the promoter.

I got in the stadium around 1245 and qualifying was starting and I noticed no one had a drink of any kind. Maybe the stadium didn’t realize this is an all day event? No vendor was open. Then they opened 1 vendor on each side of the stadium and the lines looked like this till around 5 o’clock when they started opening the rest up. If you exited and re entered everyone had to enter the same gate and re show tour ticket and stamp and go through security as you did the first time. It was a mess. I enjoyed the race and I hope they come back for years to come but Nissan is going to have to be more prepared next year. I’ve only been to Atlanta the past 10 years and it’s never been like this.
This is how it was at Atlanta this year. Only 1 line out and 1 line in. Insane

So you’re saying there may have been more than 54,703 people there? Grinning

Missed most of 2nd qualifier just to stand in line. Couldn’t get to the club level cause they kept saying closed until 5, kinda frustrating.
