Going slow during sighting lap, guy cuts inside the track on a cheater line. I stayed in the slow line and got off the throttle to let him pass. Unfortunately he blew through the corner and high sided bad. I hope he is well and recovers, he was alert and moving when I left the scene. It was a scary moment and lessons can be learned by all involved.

What injures did he sustain?
It looks like all kinds of BROS were railing that dozer windrow.

Thankfully, I saw him start moving his arms and legs a little.
At that point I walked away, had to go calm the heart rate a little
did he walk off or ambulance?
dude crashed hard and why would they put a building next to that burm
Yes he was pretty fast, looked pretty gnarly railing that corner...however, I was less than impressed in the next corner.
the building is too close thats bull if some one blows that they are dead
It is seriously a slow tight sandy chicane, not at all hard to slow down for.
He went in way too hot
The building is the scoring tower, there is a slow 1st gear pop over right after that chicane
The wide angle does throw the angles off a little. Had to be there and know that track.
My buddy never gets pissed...he was steaming after that.
Pit Row
It looked like more than a few people had used that “line”.
That hit was brutal. If he’d hit just a bit harder, it might have been his next shortcut line.
Remember this old saying , before you insult someone : " When you're driving down the highway and come up on a slow driver , he's an idiot. When you get passed by a driver going faster than you , he's a crazy lunatic that shouldn't have a license ". In other words , it's all in the eyes of the beholder. You're going the perfect speed and everyone else is clueless.
Home boy was sleepin' on top of his bike, yikes. That was pretty scary to see. Kinda shocked that your reaction to that was "this dude almost killed me!" and wanted to beat him up rather than being worried about him.
Like I said, I have done hundreds upon hundreds of laps there...Never seen anyone take that line in my life.
I have no prob getting passed, that is why I was hugging the slower inside line

I have no problem with someone faster passing me, as long as it is within the track boundaries we all abide to.
It is good to get input from other riders and hear your opinions on it.
