I've had good luck with everything leatt, if they follow 100% and only use 1 lens shape theyll take over the goggle market.

Think that's a pellet gun. Which btw is still really impressive. I like the looks of them too.

So they are bringing back 1982? That was Jones Goggles ad back then.

A pellet gun doesn't have powder discharge from the barrel...it's a .22 for sure!

Curious what other manufacturers lens would do if they were shot with a pellet.

While cool, I think the bigger issue presented in motocross is a larger rock hitting the goggle and pushing the lens out of place rather than a bb/pellet sized rock shooting through the lens into your eyes.

Googles look good.

not too smart to show "bullet proof" in the ad

Jones did it in the early 80s. I'd bet DC or someone has a copy of an old ad.

They look pretty nice. I hope they make a solid double paned lense.

It's not the 80's anymore. Some dipshit is going to shoot himself in the eye and his estate will own Leatt.

It literally says they are bullet proof. So they have to be bullet proof or it’s misrepresentation surely?

This just in Fox® kids around the world have been drinking Monster® and shooting themselves between the eyes showing off their new Leatt® goggles. 12 kids have already been found dead due to what kids are calling the new "Leatt Goggle Bullet Challenge"

Wow! I actually thought it was a pelllet gun. But nope , that's a real .22 , holy crap! I like the looks and price of these goggles too. Just bought 4 pairs of Airbrakes , so it doesn't look like I need any more.

.22 revolver, not exactly the same as a .22 rifle much less a 30-06.
Impressive none the less.
They mention the lens are all the same. You industry insiders know if theyll keep that going forward? And how do they fit us big nose folks?

Those are really, really cheap. I don't think there is an other brand with a thick molded lens for that MSRP, good job Leatt!

Make sure you try them at a shop with your style helmet because they are a large vision area goggle. Might not fit snug. They look great. A friend tried a pair last weekend and had fit issues in his helmet. Remember this is my opinion only try for yourself to be sure.

They look exactly like the 12 dollar goggles in the other goggle thread where you could buy from Alibaba. Same frame nosepiece etc.

Has anyone gotten their hands on these and tried them out yet? What do you think?

Most of the goggles are produced for pennies on the dollar in the same building as the majority of brands out there. Not surprising and makes me laugh too

If I can find the information again, I will post a link to it, most goggles except Oakley and Smith are made by the same manufacturer over seas.

If they have Iridium lenses and easier to replace lense then prospect, im switching.

If you have raced with iridium lenses, you are not going back.

Just got to put my hands on a set. Here is my .02

I switched from 100% to Scott Prospects because I wanted a more secure lense. I race Hare Scrambles and deal with rocks and tree limbs from time to time. The lense seemed more secure on the Prospects so I ended up going that route.

I was able to physically handle the lens as well as the frames of the new Leatt Goggle. The lens is a solid preformed unit that is remarkably similar to the Oakley lens. Very stout very thick. The frame is very nice but has a simialr feel to a "larger" 100% style goggle. If that makes sense. Lense changes are exceptionally quick and intuitive. Once the lens is in the frame, it feels like a very solid unit. THe out riggers are fixed, so that may be a turn off for some. That is one aspect of my Prospects that I do like.

The foam is very thick and dense. I tried them on with a Bell Moto 9 Flex and found fit to be just fine with a size large.

The roll off system offers a pretty large field of view. Not too far off from the prospects.

The strap for the goggles are also very large. Very similar to the Scotts and Oakleys. ALso the foam is very easy to remove as well as replace.

I will be changing over to them once my dealer gets them in stock.

These are just my general observations and opinion. Seek them out and I think many of you will be quite surprised.

Wildman, THANK YOU. I took have gone from 100%’s (which suck) to prospects (which I like but the colorways and foam are awful) exciting to hear you can replace and remove the foam. You sold me on a set. Call leatt and demand your commission check ?
