I have a 2015 YZ450 and want a new 2019. My wife said why, the 2019 is the same bike. In looks is all she notices. But she visually cannot tell them apart so she denied me buying a new one. LOL So now I'm looking at Husky, KTM or Kawasaki haha

Anyone have battery issues with their 19? I have two hours on my bike and the battery is dead. I've had it on a 1 amp charger for a few days and still I hit the starter and all I hear is a click, sounds like the ccu coming on but it still wont let me connect my phone. I've heard Yamaha is aware of their battery issue. I paid a little extra when I financed it to get lifetime battery replacements so I will be going to my local dealer (bought it out of state) to see about getting a new one tomorrow.

Thats one of the best looking Yamahas I've seen in a long time. Clean, uncluttered, and cared for in great detail. Nice work man, nice work.

Hope you used a lithium battery charger on it. Regular chargers will kill a lithium battery

If she can’t tell the difference buy a 2019 and she’ll never know

To those that have put graphics on their 19, will I need to get new plastics or do the graphic kits go over the sublimated stock graphics pretty easy?

Haven't even really ridden ours yet. Just did my swingarm and pivot linkage greasing. Also removed stock plastics and decided to go with something a little bit different.

That is exactly the same problem ive been having with my 19. Started a thread about it a week ago. It seems to happen everytime I wash it. I tried holding the engine kill button for 3-4 seconds to kill the ECU from restarting but it didnt help. Spoke to my dealer and they havent heard of these problems but ive seen more threads with a few people having the same issue. I believe a new wiring harness is necessary but for now when I wash the bike I use wrags to cover up rear fender area and the slot on the bottom left side of the fender that is open so no water gets near battery area. That has solved the issue for now. If it keeps persisting disconnect the battery cables from the battery and let it sit a few days. Water is interferring with the circuit on one of the plug ins causing the fuel pump to initiate every two minutes. Let me know if your new battery helps!

We've got one of each. Two best dirt bikes I've ever owned. They are so good right out of the box. The 250F is my daughters but I ride it almost as much as she does. That bike is so fun at the moto track.

Sounds like what my bike was doing from brand new, but it was the starter clutch which was faulty
