Ride one sometime. Exactly the opposite of what you said. They literally have a rev-limiter so low on overrev compared to a carb bike. And they are known for having less hit and being more "4-stroke like" as far as 2-strokes go. More linear and broad. Which may be a pro or con depending on preferences. The bike in the video did not ingest dirt. Unfortunately, this type of failure is disturbingly common with these bikes. I think the dark stuff you are seeing is the exploded piston teflon coating that is now ground into all the metal chunks.

I dont have kids, I go to watch and help out a few friends, and like to spectate from more than 1 spot the whole time. I ride a Trail 90 and use it to carry stuff around with me incase the rider needs it. Again they punish everyone because they don't want to do the job right and stop the idiots. This solution wont work and they know it. I won't be going and I hope many others don't as well. That or enough people go and tell them to go fuck themselves and ride whatever they want and...

People running around on pit bikes and golf carts are annoying AF, so good rule…saying that TC sure likes his power trips to show how important he is. If he truly came out with a video saying it was HIS decision it just shows how much of a tool he is

This comment will get lots of down votes, but get a Stark, as much or as little power as you want, it's a smoother easier to ride bike, and uses the same suspension as your YZ250.

I had a wr400f back in the day and now have 2 yz450fx's. The newer platform is way better and the newer engine is so much better with the app's ability to tune it. Anyone saying the new 450 is too much in the woods hasn't played with the power tuning app enough. I get the fueling figured out and leave it alone, then just use timing to adjust the power characteristics.

Yamaha developed the first 250f in plain sight, it looked so similar to the 400f that nobody noticed. I’m a nobody who knows nothing about what Yamaha is doing, but if they were working on a 350, I’d be watching for a really torquey, fast “YZ250F” at the practice tracks.

It feels like if Yamaha had a 350f developed and waiting in the wings, they would be stupid not to launch it right now while the KTM group is struggling financially and reducing their racing platform. While sure, Yamaha may sell less of their own 250's or 450's, the sales from converts buying a Yz350f would certainly offset those losses. As for Kailub, I don't think KTM needs him back. They have the reigning Champ Ben Kelley, and the current champ Johnny G. on their roster. KR won his titles and so they put him out to pasture. I won't...
