Feld will apologize without apologizing tomorrow. And they’ll say they’re taking steps to work with whoever so that this doesn’t happen again either by seeking out an alternative to lime or using it more judiciously. They will also state that the safety of the participants and fans is their top priority.

And Supercross will go on.

Any bike that has an Al frame is toast, might as well start all over again with a new bike. $5K is a good "starting point" and it likely needs to get negotiated based on the circumstances to about $15K. Pretty much any part made of Aluminum is roached. Honestly, I'm pleasantly surprised they are offering the riders money. I'm certain whatever is finally negotiated will come with a gag order and an agreement not to sue going forward. This gives me hope this will get resolved swiftly. This is good by Feld.
