Seth Enslow. I know that sounds like a joke but I bet he has a million stories from the 90s.
Not a joke at all, Seth was a mainstay in the dirt bike world for many years.

Did anyone say Factory Phil? I would think Ping could get some good ones out of him.

Great show. I've got a suggestion for future shows. When you put a picture up on the tv behind the panel & it's one that you're talking about, is it possible to put it onto the whole screen for a minute or two so the viewer at home can see it? You know when the viewer can see the image & hear you talking about it in the background. Love seeing pictures when the guys were on mini bikes.

Now that we know the format and that they aren't afraid to ask any question, who would you like to see? Here are a few that came to mind for me. I'm curious who you guys think would make a good interview.

K-dub - His Suzuki days are a mystery to me. I'd love to hear more about his early career

Matt Walker - He was around during some epic times and I think he'd have some great stories

Bobby Bonds

Ezra Lusk

Steve Lamson

Jimmy Button

Ezra Lusk #11

Would be great to hear from him and also about his times with RC when they were younger and how things changed when they were both pro etc.

James Stewart.....duh.

Seriously though, what a great show. I was never able to get into the pulp mx podcast due to it just being an audio recording.

Tony Alessi would be good.

Or Big James since we know Bubba would never do it.

I'd love to hear his comments about the ACU having a go at him for his no handed jumps at the Sydney Showgrounds SX. They made (as they always did - and, largely still do, as MA) twats of themselves. Rex just said the wind was blowing his hands off the bars.......

If you want to hear pure entertainment, try to find Warren Reids' video about, and impersonation of, Gaston Rahier.

"But, I Am, Gaston!"

"Of course, I Am, Gaston!"

It's a classic - done with much love / respect towards Gaston - who was a hell of a character.

Many of the names listed here have done other podcasts. Its going be hard not to do repeats. Hopefully Ping digs up some guests none of us have ever got to hear. Or in depth. Best examples being Roger and then Bones.
So much MX and SX history the fans never get to hear cause of industry politics. But gosh damn GL is annoying. Talks over and interrupts. Many of us going be tired of hearing the well in South Africa stories.
Keep up the great work Ping.

Thanks for putting that up, Ed!

We've had this bullshit of an age limit in MX2 for years now. And now there's an age limit in EMX250, as well.

If crap like that was in place in the 70s, Gaston would not have got his 3 125 titles - the first of which, in '75, he was 28 years of age. Born in 1947, he was a GP regular in the late 60s. Hell, I think John Dowd was 31 when he won the 125 East SX.
