What size plywood did you use on the walls? 1/4”? I am in the process of building out a Promaster 159” high roof and am trying to figure out the best way to go.

Transit Connect High Roof LWB. Perfect as a daily driver and doubles as my Moto van. I slept in it last year when I went down to the Barmouth Beach Race. I picked this up for a measley £500 and it's done me good with 137k on the clock.

Wouldn't recdommend driving far without a bulkhead. I live 20 minutes from my local track and it's 30mph limit all the way there. When I go further than that we usually van-pool anyway so it doesn't come with me everywhere.

Not the prettiest van in the world by all means but it does the job well!

anyone try one of these setups? i'm about to pull the trigger on one. little pricey, but being able to put in and take completely out in seconds is a huge plus. my transit passenger van has a false floor for the ac/heating ducts so bolting something to the floor the right way is not an easy task.. this system looks pretty sweet..

I built this for my MWB, no longer in use. You may be able to mod it for your shorty, you're welcome to have it.

i think i saw that on craigslist a couple of months ago? i was going to call you, but you took the ad down before i got a chance.. very cool of you to offer man. i'm just wondering what i'd have to do to make it work in the 130wb van. i'm surprised no one bought it from you, you had it up for cheap

Yeah, I got tired of the usual 40 questions from CL clowns, and no shows.

For you guys doing build outs, are you insulating the side walls, roof or divider walls? If so, what with?

Lots of people glue that styrofoam board up with expanding foam. I used cheap window flashing that's almost like dynamat first, then pink insulation like R15 with that reflective bubble wrap heater duck insulation on top of everything, then 1/4 plywood. It's very effective as insulation and sound deadening it's also all really inexpensive materials you can grab at lowes. Some people spend a shit ton of money on insulation and sound deadening materials. I'm not baller status like them.

I'm looking at the medium roof LWB Transit. Does anyone have a pic showing how much space is left once I get the bikes in the back? Trying to figure out if I'll have enough room. Really don't want to go to the tall Ex LWB. That is a big vehicle to fit in my drive.

New toyota hiace coming out. No longer seat over motor. The current model of hiace although reliable is very archaic and lacks good economy.

On the White E-Series, do you have a picture of the wall through the rear side door? I think I want to place one like yours appears to be: half way through the door opening, so you can reach in from the side.

Wow! I just invested in a moto van, Ford Transit. After seeing your setup..... I’ll just set fire to mine and start over. Great looking van.
