Not a fan. And whoever picked black Yamahas and the gear color Ferandis is wearing should have his head examined. Props to JGR with the blue seat cover on the Suzuki’s is the best looking bike out there. And I’m a Honda guy. Btw Kenny’s red plate on HRC is sweet. HRC and Keho deserve it. I hope and think it will belong to them for a while. With Kenny being an awesome starter triple crowns should favor him. I wish Houston was a triple crown and that there were half the rounds.

I’m pretty sure monster had a lot of input on the black to make their logo pop. I think the Yamahas are pretty hot, 250s more that 450s with the black backgrounds, and I thought the Thor gear popped. Don’t be mad you can’t pull it off.

I dig the 19 team yamaha bikes but they need to ditch the freestyle looking blue rims. The 2008 MXGP Yamaha bikes were pretty mean looking.

Jim Holley gave that question to yamahas team manager on race day live. He stated monster requested it to make their logo pop

Black does not belong on a dirtbike unless it’s the color of the gas cap, handlebars, cables, tire/wheel and airbox.

also a more rad looking bike imo than the last few years. shroud/cockpit area was dialed on these models.

I like the look in the pits and pictures but not on the track. Seeing them on the track reminds me of some villain in a cheesy moto movie

I agree about the black Yamahas they look terrible. They should be blue in front with a black rear fender or something. That Thor gear with the black bike didn’t help lol. I don’t agree with triple crowns though.

In not a fan of the all-black look, the shrouds I can deal with being black, but it is hard to get used to the black front fender!

I’ve not been a fan of black plastics since I decided to use them for a season in 97 and had more crashes and bad luck than ever that year. I’ve stuck with oem colours ever since! So yeah I’m not really a fan, the blue/white yamahas always look so clean.
