Did you find your Ti6 system to be really loud? I can’t barely stand the noise of mine... ??‍♂️

Good eye! You are correct, the guide is not the same as the 16-18. I improvised and made it work and waiting for one that correctly fits. It still functions properly however.

Question for you guys someone may be able to help me. I put the rekluse in my bike and so did my buddy . For some reason mine must be dragging a tad because when running it’s hard to get in neutral. When riding the rekluse is sweet and I love it but really stumped on this. I have taken it apart multiple times and took a look at it to see what it could be. Could it just need bled? Thanks in advance.

Also pc pipe with the black coupler makes a big difference I think.

Here’s some pics of mine. Just finished it for the most part. Still have some Cerekote work to do. Put 10 hours on it now, and love it! Great bike, handles like a dream, corners almost like my previous suzuki!
However, the forks are too soft for my liking (added about 20ml of oil each leg and made it a bit better) and the left leg already looses a bit of oil.
Unfortunately the chain roller disintegrated after 4 rides, just like it has always been on the kawis...Silly

My 2016 clutch dropped right in. The only difference is the gear in the center needs to be switched. I confirmed with Hinson before doing it.

2019 KX450 Control ISSUES

So I ordered protaper 1 1/8 bar mounts for the bike, they use a larger nut making it extremely difficult to install. Also the stud that the bar mounts use are way longer than stock. They actually hit the electrical bracket on the left side of the frame they are so long. I would avoid these for this bike.

Also, I ordered a set of Renthal Twinwall bars (997 bend). Just a heads up, the controls did not fit in the space provided. I managed to get them all on with the holeshot button directly ontop of the rubber seal of the bar, this was as far to the right as I could put it. The clutch was all the way to the right as well, but this still put the lever in a bad spot to be pulled.

I also installed the ODI lock on grips to the new bars.. Turns out the CAM used by ODI has a smaller diameter and is narrower than the stock kawii throttle tube. This caused slightly different pull (open/close) and it added a ton of side to side play within the throttle housing unit.

Gonna switch back to stock stuff for now until I can do a little more research. Might end up going with the Ride eng. bar mounts and mika or tag bars.
There is an OEM Kawasaki optional part number for oversized bar clamps. I haven't tried them, but I bet that would solve your problems.

I looked it up a while ago, but I think there is a tall bar mount 7/8 clamp and a standard height 1-1/8 clamp.

Oh, yeah the part numbers are different and there are slight differences in the casting of the pressure plate, but it all works.

Out of curiosity, what did Recluse change on your slave cylinder? Just noticed the engraving on your picture

Well went to test my clutch made it 10 feet onto the track and the bike cut out. Not seized it shifts fine but it cranks and doesn't start. Going to check the battery cranking amps first.

Update for those that are interested - RMZ body HSC adjuster hits the right hand portion of the frame so its a complete no go - Would be easier to retrofit the existing a kit kx shock body.

FWIW if you have a single piece a kit HSC adjuster, you can have PC modify this to work in your production 19 body, and install your kit clevis/shaft/piston. Then you essentially have the goodies of the kit shock minus the fact its a production body so not sand cast (big whoop) and doesnt have fancy gold kashima (again, big whoop). Unfortunately I have a team 3 piece adjuster so I cant retrofit it, and thus wont have a restricter in the body as i'll have to use the stock adjuster. Going to see if I can source a general A kit 1 piece HSC adjuster so I can have a restricter and run the rest of my kit parts in the production body.

I'm sending my shock Monday to be retro fitted. I never pulled out my compression assembly. I'm assuming it's the 3 piece since it was Darian sanayei's.

I don't know what's going on with my bike. Battery was good, has spark, and zero fault codes. Thing just won't start. Only thing left is to see if the injector is delivering fuel. It shifts into every gear and if I leave it in first and try to start it turns the rear wheel so it's not locked up...

Do you have an air filter cover on instead of an air filter?

Did that one time by accident after washing the bike. Went to start it to warm it for the oil change, when I forgot to take the cover off and put a clean filter on. Bike didn’t wanna start for a solid minute even after replacing a clean filter on it.

I have an air filter on haha. The bike has all the plastics off been messing with it. It was running and I went out on the track shifted to third started to do a sight lap and it cut out as soon as I opened up the throttle more then putting.

Is the tip over sensor messed up somehow or something else weird?

Haven't checked that but it was running for 5-10 minutes before it cut out as soon as I got on the track. Obviously this is going to be a pain to figure out with no fault codes.

No fault and you can hear fuel pump running after I stop.

Are you sure about the battery, mine left me hanging. Had voltage but no amperage, put a jump box on it and see if it starts.

Sounds like it may be time to bust out the ole compression gage.... Wonder if you dropped a valve or cracked a piston. The #'s will be low anyways due to the auto detent on the exhaust cam. I'd check the valve train first and foremost. Make sure it didnt jump time.

Yeah I just took the air filter off and bumped the starter and saw fuel spray... Not looking good.

I think I'll start with a new plug and different gas if the compression is ok.

How many hours on the bike? Pop the valve cover and timing inspection cover and verify timing.

13.9, I'll open it up if the plug or gas doesn't work. Might as well ad a PC piston if it gets too far.

Man, sorry to hear about your issues DB! Hope you can get it sorted quick like. On the maintenance note, anyone know the quickest/easiest way to get a service manual on these 19’s? Dealer or?
