I think they are including it in every kit now, there is even a little instructional note about the issue and mounting instructions - so I think they probably would send ones out if requested, they seem like pretty good people to deal with. I havent seen anything official about them for sale yet.

Here is a pic of the steel S bracket that FMF is including now. Thoughts? This should relive a bunch of stress from the subframe mount...

Do you know if this can be purchased separate?
They aren't listed on their website but I shot them an email. They asked when I purchased my exhaust and from where then they emailed back asking for a shipping address. Mailed it to me free of charge.

I️ read on Keefers Test site that FMF was making a running change to the exhaust that gives even more mid-range. If I’d bought one of the early systems for the ‘19 I’d be a little pissed. You would think they would not release a system until enough testing was done to insure they optimized all they can.

hmm, mine just showed up from RMATV about a half hour ago. I think I'm good as it came with a bracket to support the sub-frame. I think the earlier one did not?

I did notice don maeda had an fmf with a longer header compared to the one I've seen on current bikes.
I still wish the can was a bit shorter for looks.

Just got my wheels put on last night. So you guys know these were previous year wheels and Dubya changed the front bearings and spacer to fit the 19.

MXA seems to be the only magazine that does not like the 2019 KX 450 as much as everyone else.
https://motocrossactionmag.com/mxa-race-test-the-real-test-of-the-2019-…

However, just got my KX Today. Cant wait to ride it, but funny that they did not bother mounting a skid plate. The mounts are already there and the plate probalby costs 2$ to produce.
Minor detail, but my end cap is black while on every photo i see there is a aluminum/unpainted endcap.

I have a feeling they left the skid plate off to save weight even though it's miniscule.

That’s because they do more “hardcore” racing than anybody else

Yes sir! Should be testing the asv f4 levers on it tomorrow, and getting a feeling for the 30+ class!

I think US market is the only one to get aluminum cap, I've seen black caps on bikes outside the US, must be a quieter tip or something.

Acerbis has it on their website in various colors. Dont know if they are available though. They seem not to answer questions, i asked Them about frame guards for the 19 in August.
