Feel for JVH #89, would be high on my list of riders to sign so the fact he remains a free agent is very worrying.

Shame this MX2 age restriction is still in place because he would be perfect in MX2, was flying in the MXoD a couple of years back!

Looks like the TM Rumors were true, shame to see Max is still without a ride at the moment.

Interesting read on Revo Husqvarna, apparently factory teams are trying to secure a deal for Zachary Pichon, been in discussions with Revo but they opted to sign Alvin Östlund.

Pichon had a statement on his Instagram that he will ride for another brand in the GP's next year.

As far as JvH goes, maybe something comes up for the nationals this summer? Or maybe even Japan or Australia? He is an elite rider in the MXGP class, so riding for championships over there could be possible.
Spoke briefly with JvH at MXdN, seems like he is done, he was clearly frustrated with the way things are in the GP paddock right now. He has very little motivation to race MXGP again next year. The age rules mean an influx of young riders who are desperate to just get a ride so will ride for next to nothing, which means guys like JvH can't get paid what they deserve. He did say that if he couldn't get a decent ride he'd retire, and I believe him, he seems like the kind of guy who sticks to his decisions. We'll see, it's a great shame to lose him out of the paddock because he's a fantastic rider and certainly worthy of a factory ride.

Brylyakov and Strijbos and Tim Edberg to JWR.
Swedish championship and at least the euro GPs.
Sounds like a good deal for these guys.
Especially Strijbos: he can do what he loves most (not for a lot of money I guess), and slowly preparing for a life without GP's. I think this is better than cold turkey stop riding GP's, because your life changes drastically and these guys didn't earn enough in their careers to do nothing I guess

Tanel Leok will continue with his team. Total of 5 riders - 4 estonians and 1 austrian (factory is pushing him, not sure who he is).

Great news for JVH. I feel for the older MX2 riders, can't be a good feeling that you'll be forced out of the class with no possibility of a ride the following season.

Great news. They must have decent financials to run three riders. Did Kawasaki help out with his salary?
11/14/2018 1:18am
This year they skipped a couple of GP's without a reason, Bobryshev missing some races without being injured or anything. Rumour was that they had financial problems. So with them coming back with a 3 rider team next year makes me wonder if that will end up good.
Wont be the first time we see a team with big plans ending up not paying riders and disapearing as fast as they came...

This is pretty exciting but are you sure they'll make Strijbos and Brylyakov ride the Swedish championship. There's nothing for them there, money nor challenge and from what I've gathered JWR is setting up shop in Belgium for 2019.
Also quite surprised Filip Bengtsson didn't re-sign. Seems like a great fit for Bengtsson to close out his career, winning some more championships before he hangs it up.

Bengtsson choose to ride for his father-in-law at Blomsmx instead. Yes, according to clubmxstar guest Patrik Erlandsson, they're both doing the Swedish Nationals.

Vaessen goes to Hitachi KTM UK, Mewse will be his teammate. Graeme Irwin in MXGP.

Great news about the Jerre if true! But still rumours, no? Lets wait until the official press release.

Edit: apparently he tested and approved the bike. The problem is that the team now need to find the budget to run three riders, wich is difficult nowadays. Fingers crossed!

First of all thank you for making the whole list. Question on Vaessen, has this been confirmed?

2 months ago Vaessen said to me he had a deal with 114 Honda for 2019. Don't really understand what has changed. 114 also not improving, from 2 riders (including a toprider) in '18 to just Mitch Evans in 19.

Vaessen move isn't yet official and I believe it won't be until the new year.
114 will have 2 riders again in 2019, Zach Pichon and Mitch Evans - again both not yet official.

I agree. I still don’t know how he was able to pull that ride off. Does his dad have good relations there or something? I’m not saying Vialle is a bad rider, I was impressed with some of his rides this year. I just think that KTM being the ultimate team in the paddock they could have been able to get someone better. Still hope he does good!

The motocross budget side off KTM has been cut in a big way, they can no longer pay 2 riders to do the same job (win at world level) (222 is just seeing out his contract and collecting his pay) KTM does honor there contracts with riders, look no further than Pootjes
Vialle will be riding for free, and he has potential that can be worked with, that takes pressure off of the budget cuts.
Look at this from a business perspective, KTM basically paid 2 people to do the same job this year, that makes no sence, and with MotoGP team struggling those days are over

José Butron who get's a seat in MXGP for all rounds, good deal for him after his results the last couple of years..
https://mxvice.com/98216/new-signing-jose-butron

They might be looking for a second rider, could this be interesting for JVH if the BOS GP deal will fail?
Or VG, he rode steady last weekend at Paris SX.
