Where can I get the small "Pro AMA" decals? Thanks for you help.

Picked this up for $1700 last week. All plastic has the original honda stampings so either it is stock or oem before it sold out. Suspension and top end just done with receipts. Pro Circuit pipe and silencer. Frame original paint and in great shape. Wonder if anyone ever actually rode this thing? All I did was tires, chain, pegs and graphics for an additional $300. Cool bike for $2,000.

Thanks, yes I picked them up while away in USA.
They fit my 1996 cr250 and take forks of a 2006 crf 250.

Totally agree, he's a top man with a passion for what he does.
He planted the seed for this build a few years ago and when I saw Col's bike (Mcfan for life) and this forum that was it I had to build one!

I don't see any McGrath graphics kits anywhere, I don't need one but was looking around, none on ebay, Throttle Jockey no longer lists the kit, only the 1995 kit. Evo-mx used to list a kit but I no longer see anything. I got mine from someone in europe off ebay. Wonder if someone made a big deal about copyright's?

I've just purchased a 95 cr 250 and want to do a replica . I'm looking for a plastics kit , decal kit , engine cases

Also where could I find the complete spec ?

If anyone has any parts for sale let me know

MCFan - That's been done for quite a while correct?... I have pics of that saved from back in like 2011 ... as it's pretty much exactly how I want mine to look! Great job!!

Mine has been on the back burner for quite some time, but recently my brother crashed it and busted the tank, bars, and a foot peg,... I guess it's time to start on this project as I've still got all the new plastic and graphics and a whole bunch of other stuff... plus I now have an 08 CRF450R to ride as my main bike Wink

I'm sure this has been covered over and over,.. but in regards to the 99 Front end I'm putting on my 93 CR250, will a 95 front wheel/hub/axle/bushings all work or are there modifications that have to be done? If so, what year(s) Front wheel assembly will be a direct fit on the 99 fork/triple clamp set up (I think 97,98,99 are exactly the same?) anything newer (CRF'ish?)

I have the 95 front wheel assembly, and thought it was a direct fit, but I'm getting some conflicting info now Sad

Thanks
Rick

Does anybody know where I may be able to find a Pro Circuit works pipe for a 93 250? Doing my replica and would rather not use the platinum pipe.

Hey Mate, quick question... What brand frame guards are on your bike / are correct for a McGrath replica?? Acquiring a MC replica this weekend and would really appreciate picking your brain on a few things. I just added you on Facebook if you don't mind (Blake Steffy).. Cheers!!

Hey Blake my frame guards are Works Connection. I'm pretty sure they're still available. MC ran factory HRC frame guards made in house which are obviously unobtainable so WC are the next best thing.

Hi,
Here are some photos of my semi finished mc build from last year.
Changed a few things since then and still looking for a genuine 1997 cr125 seat to finish it off. Thanks to Col MCfan for hooking me up with some of the parts. Thanks Matt

So the original pics in this thread are gone forever? I’m starting a build and would like to reference this thread for it. Thanks.
