If he does still race, I assume he'd be doing it on his own. If any of the Alta mechanics/engineers help him it would be out of good faith since none of them are getting paid.

Alta usually has a pretty strong presence at events with sprinter vanss and a slew of engineers swapping batteries and making changes. I doubt that would be the case this weekend.
