Good to see Poto and Dungey racing again even if it just for a one off. Dunge looks just as fit as when he was racing full time! Cant wait.

This will be my first time going to straight rhythm. Do I need to buy tickets online, or can I just pay once I show up?

Sounds like there's not going to be very many Pros there...I may have missed it, but is there a link for the official registry list?

Where is the Yamaha from last time?

Looks like he is signed. Smart of him to skip RBSR at this stage in his career. I mean look what happened last year, it fucked him up for the 18 season.

I think it'd be more a case of trying to nail down the JGR ride, it's not going to impress Suzuki if he goes and races a Yamaha is it?

because Alta ceased operations.

If he does still race, I assume he'd be doing it on his own. If any of the Alta mechanics/engineers help him it would be out of good faith since none of them are getting paid.

Alta usually has a pretty strong presence at events with sprinter vanss and a slew of engineers swapping batteries and making changes. I doubt that would be the case this weekend.

Because no race mechanic has ever worked without getting paid for the time.

Well this would be extra weird since they have no employer anymore and any stuff (van, tools) are not covered under insurance/employer any longer technically.

What is Cedric riding?

Personally I don't think it would make any sense to promote a brand that ceased operation.

If that's the case hopefully he shows up on the YZ 125 he was riding and not just pull out of the event.

Cedric is riding the RM 250 that Bill's Pipe is building for Transworld MX.

I saw that they ceased production. Didn't realize they were halting everything.

I won't lie, I hope Durham comes out on a smoker.

I know it's beating a dead horse but I am kinda surprised that Honda, Kawi, Suzuki haven't got back into the two stroke market. I mean really, there is a serous resurgence going on right now. No, they won't replace the four strokes but between the 125 races, Straight Rhythm and all the European events you would think it would be worth their while even if just building off the last tech they had.

It really seems like more than ever you see smokers everywhere these days. It's pretty cool.
