"If it wasn´t a european sand-track..."
"If it wasn´t in europe...."
"If it wasn´t on sand in the US..."
"If it was on Glen Helen...."

Running out of excuses.

Good job team France!
Now let’s ditch the circus show (supercross)
I couldn’t be the only one that gets bored halfway through the SX season and just looks up the results instead of watching.

we would win easy at the SXON.
Would love to see that, Ferrandis, Musquin and 1 more guy. I would say Paulin, with a couple of weeks practice. They would be able to compete for the win!

What in the hell was this place like for the years America waxed everyone?

My takeaways:

1) The most embarrassing thing is that we got beat by a team with someone as irrelevant as Tom Searle.

2) We can all agree that Herlings is the best in the world. America is behind at the moment.

3) Marv won the Monster Million but its a general consensus that no one in here would put their money on him to win any race with Tomac on the start line.

4) I am amazed the Netherlands don't have a 3rd guy who can get a 19th?

This horse gets beaten to death but I think the sport is becoming more and more inaccessible at the amateur level and I feel the talent pool is dwindling to people with more means than blue collar kids with grit.

No - He's just saying "hey look...this jump looks huge in person."

The Netherlands MX2 entry (Calvin Vlaanderen) was easily capable of getting at least a 19th, indeed he had a fantastic GP season and won races. Unfortunately a freak eye injury ruined his first race and was deemed serious enough to restrict him from further competition. The Dutch had the worst luck I can remember in recent yrs, they deserved better. Second for me on the hard-luck front was the Brits with Tommy's bike blowing up, though I may be a little biased there.

That's what hurts most about this year, there are no excuses to hang your hat on. None.

Latvia 2014 - Lying 3rd overall just two laps from the end of the final moto and Simpsons chain breaks.

Ernee 2015 - Anstie gets landed on during Saturday qualifying. Out for the rest of the weekend.

Maggiora 2016 - We were shit.

Matterley 2017 - Searles 250 blows up.

Red Bud 2018 - Searles 450 blows up two laps from the end of 1st race, robbing us of a solid 4th and probably another podium.

Damn straight. He had the whole country on his shoulders and came through with the W.

What the Euros don't know is that the 450 and 250 classes are basically feeder classes over here for the premiere pit bike class. Speaking of which, I'm about tired of seeing Reed sandbagging in the 450 class. Anyone know when he's going to move up to the pit bikes or is he scared?

Yeah let's insult riders because ours didn't perform, what a great way to make yourself feel better, if you're empty and sour that is.

Sad bastards.

Think about this, Tommy may be irrelevant in your mind (do unicorns exist in that place too?) but if your champ can't pass him on a bike that's screwed what does that say?

I honestly don't care that we lost. I love the sport and think we're behind, and this loss just further proves the point.

Secondly...I agree...Searle sucks and his bike was sucking and it totally sucks that our best rider couldn't beat him, which means Eli sucks way worse. Now go eat a unicorn dick ya ole chap.

I will have to go to the next USGP or a MXON in Europe to watch these guys ride.

I always thought I was watching the fastest in the world until now.

Any idea on the 2020 MXON?

It's around the time of my anniversary and maybe Ill do a euro trip with the wife and tie that in.

2020 MXdN is at Ernée in France. Take your wife to Paris for a few days, then head to the races.

Parfait!

2. No, other top riders started further back and finished higher. One lap does not a race make.
3. No, see last sentence in Q.2.
3. no.2. Counting's not your strong point, but yes he was but missed the mail.
4. Yes, see last part of Q.3 no.2.
It's ok if you enjoy getting your bitch ass slapped.
The Tommy Searle thing really stands out. Why couldn't Tomac pass that guy? Twice! Searle isn't even on a full factory bike.

You’re going to Ernee, stamp it. Look up some old pics and videos of the other times it was held there. That’s an experience for a lifetime for both of you.

To be fair the dirt was a lot like a track in the UK called Fatcats that he practices on quite often.

Plus Searle is actually a pretty good fucking rider! He's just had a shitty few years with injuries and below par equipment.

What's stranger is that Harri Kullas beat Barcia and Ferrandis. I don't think he's ever finished inside the top ten in a GP race?

There were a lotta places in those running orders that were hard to process.

THE BIG ONE: What in hell is Coldenoff doing out front?! And I don't mean in a nail-biter; I mean dominating out front.

(I'm sure Anstie gets it; he probably appreciated Coldenhoff's run after it was all over.)

There's a recent theme running there.

Why TF can't he be given a bike that lasts? A tuned-to-the-hilt motorcycle that's dead on the side of the track is considerably slower than a stock one that finishes the race.

No excuses needed. Not only was team USA not competitive, they were irrelevant. I'm sure the boys in red white and blue tried their best, but they aren't even in the same zip code right now as the MXGP'ers - even on home soil. Hell, they were dropping anchor in the third moto. And look what riding the US Series did to Roczen, he wasn't all that competitive either.

Bitch slap of truth.

I have some questions for you:

1. Was Tomac in the same zip code when he got 4th in the first moto?

2. Was Tomac in the same zipcode when he moved forward through the pack his entire 2nd moto to finish 7th after a terrible start, and had the 3rd fastest lap time of the race?

3. Was Tomac in the same zip code with a faster lap time in the last moto than Cairoli, Lupino, Paulin, Searle, Antsie, Nagle, and every single other GP rider except the two Dutch riders?

3 Was Plessinger in the same zip code yesterday when he was leading his qualifier before he made a mistake on a tough, rutted triple jump in the mud?

4. Was Barcia in the same zip code yesterday when he got 2nd in his qualifier right behind Coldenhoff who smoked everyone-including Herlings-today?

Bitch slap of truth my ass.
I can see people dont want truth right now cuz all u did was point out facts n get 18 dislikes. Its a joke on here right now and people refuse to accept the team had a bad day n now somehow thats a reflection of our entire series lol. People dont wanna hear it they just wanna bash the US right now. Who knew Tomacs entire worth as a racer depended on this 1 race and none of his accomplishments when he competes in an entire series matters. Doesnt matter he blows Musquins doors off every weekend. They wanna get their kicks in so whatever let em do it. Let em bend the facts. Let them say that the us tracks are easy and the competition is bad even tho gp riders come over here to compete in the entire series all the time and hardly ever win any races and almost never win championships. Weird. I dont blame Tomac for not wanting to go now how dumb is it that you have 1 bad race and now your career is trash. Fuck that. People place your entire careers worth of results on 1 day. Have a bad day your a trash racer and you suck..... Its a joke really. But hey let em kick us when were down they should have done better. Good luck getting Eli to give a shit about this race again tho lol, he already didnt. The over reactions are laughable.

Harri Kullas...his only podium was a 3th place at the GP of Latvia in 2015 (MX2).

Yup!! That and a total loss of confidence during the races Saturday afternoon.

Confidence replaced by doubt . No way those guys are all that bad. They went in supremely confident and by 4 PM Saturday, had succumbed to loosing.

No leadership for the team. No rider, team manager, mechanic, etc. Stepped it up. RC, Stanton, Sun must have been grinding their teeth witnessing this.

Hearlings and Paulin took a page out of Bob Hannah's play book:"HOW TO CRUSH YOUR OPPONENT WITH WORDS AND FINISH IT UP IN THE RACE!". Same thing we used to do, but we are a "politically correct" country now.

This entire this is ridiculous. Herlings bested Tomac in a mud race, where he got terrible starts by the way. Have Herlings show up to glen Helen next year.. we’ll see if he can hang with Tomac.
God how quickly people forget how fast Eli is

RC>JS>RV>RD>ET which brings the USA to where it is now. These things are transitional and we’ll have our day again. Probably not for a while though.
