Can you just imagine what will happen if we get a major mud race.

That's a frightening thought... Remember Ryan Sipes at Ironman?!!

Awesome! This should really help him with sprint speed at ISDE this year.

KR is an ALL TIMER in the offroad world, I hope he throws down some motos!

It will be funny if he races with a camelbak
I think I recall seeing Plessinger doing this at a really hot round. Maybe last year or the year before?

Alessi wore one at Freestone (I think) one year, and the couch warriors on here gave him shit for it. Saying he should be hydrated before the race, he's a professional athlete, blah, blah, blah. If the guy gets thirsty, the guy gets thirsty.

Or a fanny pack

I'm really excited. I would love to see him take some top 10s. And I'll really be rooting for a mud fest one of these races

Different world. I doubt he can scrub with the best of them. Gonna lose alot of time due to lack of moto skills. However, that being said, the guy is a legend and with a little practice he may be to moto what sipes has been to offroad.

KR has been pounding motos at the Bakers Factory all season. He has the skill on an MX track top 5 skill probably not, but his what he does have and fitness is more than enough to put him top 10 I'm sure.

Many people forget KR tried to qualify back in 2010 or 2009 at Redbud. Some nasty crashes kept him out of the motos. Another of his off road competitors Josh Strang hauls the Mail on a moto track and has has a couple top 25’s at National. For those saying it’s two different world, you obviously have never seen KR at full race pace, he’ll go top 15 this weekend and beat Bogle both Motos.

For a diehard KTM offroader like myself...this is going to be like watching a porno.
Great fan of JR & KR. Sunami KTM attack of ET3. GNCC!

Top 15 maybe, but thats about it as he is a legend OR. Higher then that i dont see it. Nor can i see rc, js, rv beating him in a gncc. Different world. He hasnt been running motos since he was 8 like the rest of them. Moto is tough business. I can do a 2 hour hare scramble at b pace. I can do 5 laps at c pace on a moto track and i am dead tired.

Good for the sport. Off-Road is no joke and he's going to surprise/humble some people. I'm guessing he's got access to the Baker Factory and his times have been just fine. Agree, top 10's not a stretch.

Whats with people acting like xc guys are timid to run the same speed as moto guys?

Ever been to a gncc? 350s/450s as fast as the bike will take them in the open sections. And not on a groomed track. On rocks and roots. And as far as the conditioning, dont forget his heart rate monitor pic
