Mookie: "This sandtrack is gnarley"

Mookie: "Let's get over with this race, I see party! I'm done!"

Zwarte Cross is indeed an event to that can not be described in mere words - the crowds, the music, the atmosphere, the fun, the racing. Here's a video of some of the action today.

Johnvanbeek100 haha. His so called ''interviews'' are so cringy. Ruben (mechanic of Herlings) doesn't look very pumped to talk to him.

Nice quality video the track looked gnarly. Possibly the worst song I've ever heard though

Do they still have that massive table top jump?

^^^ That may be the poorest song choice in the history of song choices.

To be honest track looked flat as f*** compared to the previous rounds. Man, so cool to see Malcolm enjoying this race. How can you not love that guy

It looks like Mookie gained a few pounds.

He was actually very consistent in his laptimes (ive onlybseen first moto) and put down fadt laptimes at the end of the race. Good speed and he seems to have good stamina.

During the ZC the track actually is not in such a gnarly condition. They have to keep the track rideable for all the 'special' classes. If this would have been a 'normal' Dutch Masters you would have had 85cc, 125cc, 250cc and 500cc in 1 day, which means when moto 2 for the 500's would start the track would have had 4 practices and 7 moto's. At Lichtenvoorde with it's sand that means a very gnarly track. Now at the ZC they started moto 1 for the 250s on a flat track.

It was nice to have Stewart over, and i know he hasnt raced in a while, but i expected a bit better then between Martens, vd Mierden en van Berkel. But nice gig for Malcom.
read an interview with someone who rode and said very dusty and sketchy so i dont think mook would have been pushing it and probably why his laptimes were consistant...

so top MXGP guys race Zwartecross? Surprised to see Herlings, Paulin, Anstie...

A few years back when guys like Hanny and Bereman raced, it seemed like a big party and not a serious race. Some guys were racing in costumes etc. Did it change or am I remembering it wrong?

It has been more serious since it became the final race of the Dutch Masters (Dutch nationals).

If you look at how tight Mookie is riding and he still managed to finish in front of really really good beachrace specialists. With the right program and training and many lommel hours i think he will be a really good sand rider on GP Level

Im amazed the promoters of the Glen Helen National has not combined it with a Music Festival. The Pavilion Theatre is right there. Kinda like Cochella and Motocross.

Works perfect? Gotta be kidding. It is a shitrace on a dangerous shittrack. I completely understand Febvre for going home after qualifying. The schedule has to be changed all the time and delayes every other class on the weekend.

Luckily next year it's over with this BS because the Indonesian GP is scheduled on the same weekend as the Zwarte Cross. So no Dutch Open at the Zwarte Cross next year.

I will upload a raw video, with no music at all.

Here you can find a video from the race and the festival, maybe this music is better.

Come on. Zwartecross is just one big party weekend with motocross as the basic fundamental. It's all about having fun for 3 days and watch some great and fun races. It all started as a motocross event with a small tent for party.

The dutch masters of mx final is in the program since 2017. Before that , there was a random pro class.(mx2 and mx1 combined) With basically the same riders as these days. Few years ago Hansen , Durham and Bereman raced the pro class.

The zwartecross is not a music festival with motocross as entertainment or a clown show
