No, this is not official, its only official when the brand releases the product but, i didn’t just found the pics on the web, I work in the industry and sometimes you get access to photos before the rest of the people, that’s all

Yeah I do too but I know that it’s not a cool move to release info before the embargo lifts.

He told me all new design(obviously by the looks) and the bottom part will be "crushable" so speak so if you have to bail mid flight, the boot will take some of the impact so you dont blow apart your heels and feet.
That's actually really cool, It'll be interesting to see how that works.

I'm sure A-Stars is super stoked you took it upon yourself to release their new flagship boot.

You either work for a competing brand...which I doubt...work for A-Stars (which means your days are numbered) or you don't understand the concept of embargo (likely).

Actually dude I found it on google. Some Indonesian website posted all of it from the Asian 2019 Astars official show. Once it's on Google it's public access so jump off your high horse

They do look good though. You usually know more about this and I'm curious if you have an idea of at least how many color ways there will be?

You're correct I did not seriously think he would answer it. I only wrote that to somewhat diffuse a situation in which I felt I was coming off in an unwanted manner. Don't give me shit for posting the results of a simple google search. I wish I was apart of this industry but that will never happen. Vital is the deepest interaction within the industry that I will ever have so I'm going to enjoy it. I can't help it for the real leakers. All the people that bust their ass bringing this new boot to market. All the work, buildup etc just to have it leaked on vital? That being said there is something to say for free advertisement but I dont think this is quite how they wanted it to go down.


Any word on price? Switched from SG12 to Tech 7 this year and regret it. Hopefully the new Tech 10 is a more solid feeling boot.

Yeah I was surprised they moved up the release to this early. There’s some really nice new protection pieces too but the tech 10 and M10 helmet are the big news for sure. I saw some comments on the tech 3-those were updated last fall so these are just new colors, the 5 and 7 got new colors too.

One of the best features for the 10’s will be the weight, they dropped almost a pound off of them which should make them about the weight of the 7 but with much more protection. They also added a pivot system to the outside of the boot but it still has the internal brace. Also there is a shock absorber between the first and second buckle that’s pretty interesting. Someone else pointed out the new DHCP heel that uses EPS in the heel that will crush in the event of a large impact. They’ve been using this on the pro riders for a while now. It can be replaced with a resole as well. The buckles are a new version of what they’ve been using for a while but are lighter and stronger. Aroark247, there’s 5 colors haha!
