A bit late now, but I wouldn't recommend Ti brake pads pins, they don't last, I've tried them in the past and they grooved/dented quicker than steel.
Also +1 for the Honda front caliper and MC, done this to my RM, a lot better than the stock RM set up.

I'll take those pegs off your hands if you don't use them! Let me know.

With the switching to the Honda Master cylinder and caliper how would the rotor situation work? Starting at the top you’d run a Honda brake lever, Honda brake line, but if you wanted to go with an oversized rotor would you have to run the Rm rotor with the Honda oversized bracket or would the rm oversized kit for the Rm work on the Honda caliper?

I'm 99% sure you could use either brand oversize bracket, so long as they are for the correct size rotor.

I've used an RM oversize bracket for my Honda set up (can also use an RMZ bracket)

You can run an RM or RMZ bracket they are the same. I’ve never tried the Honda bracket but you can run pretty much what ever caliper you want as long as you run the correct bracket to fit the forks. I’ve run cr/crf on a kx125 before as well all I needed was the bracket to fit

Cheers man. It’s bored through the original walls the packed with def con. Sometimes the idle screw gets bored through as well but this turned out perfect and still works

Updates are coming through slow. Waiting on a few parts to arrive still. Small parts are getting finished as I find time. Super clean cylinder with clean covers and ti hardware. Possibly thinking of putting a bud racing head on this??

How’s the anodising I did the other day. Not for my shock but how cool does the purple look. Wondering if I should do the same to my shock once the kashima is done.

Getting some parts cleaned up. I’m going to go with a braking ktm ti brake tip.



I tried a ktm Ti tip for my kawi's, but it mounts at an angle and requires some machining on the brake pedal to do it...the hammerhead Ti tip was much easier; it mounts the same as the stock one and looks just as trick IMO.

Just passing on some things I've run into. Your build is looking great!

Thanks man. I’ve been told from a few people that the hammerhead ti tip is junk. No idea why I have never had either. The braking one looks awesome but then you do have the machining problem. Have you got photos of the one your using? I have a heap of sharpened alloy tips I could bolt on as wel

I'll see if I can dig one up. It was on my last 250f, a 2013 that I had for 4 years. I don't really know how a brake pedal tip can be a piece of junk. Worked fine for me.

Otherwise JGR maybe can hook you up with their in-house one. That's what I have in my project kx125 right now.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking a brake tip is a brake tip haha. Man now that I have seen that jgr one I have to have it. Looking awesome

Ok few updates coming through as of yesterday and today. The swing arm is finished ready to go back on came up better than brand new thanks to pioneer finishes. The motor is also together looking amazing and super clean.
All ti hardware including bolts, nuts and some head nuts

(NOT MY SHOCK) this turned out looking awesome after I anodised the shock body black and other parts purple. Gold TiN shaft provided my Motokote. Also valved, new spring and assembled by Motokote
