Ya basically no one really cares that you bought a super awesome bike and you are totally stoked to try it and wanted to share your happiness with everyone. They would prefer to bitch from behind their keyboards.

Someday someone will start another forum with people that actually support and are friends with one another.

I have the same bike, I love it!

Guess it means something else lol
It was originally about 2 strokes but over time people just used it when they bought new bikes whether 2 or 4 stroke. It goes back a few years and people are holding on to the OG concept.

Remember when your parents tried using your sayings when you were a teenager and they used it in the wrong context so they just looked like out of touch parents... this is just like that.

It means buying a 2 stroke... as in if a 2 stroke is so much better than a four stroke than go speak with your wallet and buy one!

not that a new 450 isn’t bad ass because it is!

Congrats on the new bike!

Nah. Just like those kids with the KIA and Hyundai that have "BRAAAP" stickers....or the "Braaappsshhh". Asked my friend about it..... he called me an idiot for thinking BRAAP had anything to do with dirtbikes...

In my short time around here(and looking at these threads for years), it appears that some people make these "wallet" threads just to bug the guys "still holding on". It ruffles feathers every time someone does it......If it applies for both, then why would it need to be said? gggrrr arrrggggg the sky is purple!

With that said, happy for you and your new bike.

My interpretation has always been: When you speak with your wallet, you’re speaking to the industry about what type of bike you want to see produced.

When these threads started popping up, there was a lot of discussion about why 2 stroke R&D/production seemed to be on its way to extinction. It has been said that if people wanted mfgs to continue to produce 2 strokes, people needed to go buy new 2 strokes. IMHO, it fits with any type of bike, but it started with new 2 strokes. Nice bike btw, I really like the new Hondas.

Schwiiing!

Nice bike. Switching over from a 4 stroke or adding to the bike collection?

OP also has a nice bike but I'm partial to two strokes. So much cooler.

Actually, I'm selling my 07 CR125 and my 12 CRF450. The 450 hasn't seen much dirt since I got into riding 125's. My CR125 is bad ass but cannot compare to the newer KTM's in the motor department. I'm a long time Honda guy but like riding these small bore 2 strokes. Had no choice but to go orange!

^^^ Well technically you could of gone white (Husky), blue (Yam) or white/light blue (TM).

All better options than your Honda CR in my opinion.

Stop it ,you're making me drool! Sweet bike, they don't bring the 150's into Australia, you have to buy the kit from KTM,pretty expensive I believe..

Didn't really want to buy a TM because I don't know much about them, or anyone that sells them for that matter. I was thinking about getting Husky but they were a few hundred more than KTM and there is absolutely NO WAY I'm paying new bike prices for a bike that hasn't had any major updates since 06 (the YZ) if that was the case I would have just kept my CR lol . The CR handles like a dream but motor is dog compared to the others.

You and the op, congrats. Who gives a shit the amount of strokes, if it has two wheels all is good.

I would lick that 150 €:

Yep, and each time the poster is usually chastised for it. Silly

Again, buying a foopter DOES NOT qualify as "speaking with your wallet"....at least in a Vital Mx sense. The term "speaking with your wallet" was originated as an avenue, or a way for the public to send a message to the manufacturers letting them know 2-strokes are still a very viable segment of the off road/moto industry.

BTW, congrats on the new bike, rmoto003.
This is true.....hes right you know
