Sorry if its been covered but does anyone know if triple clamps (16-18) will fit on the new chassis, found a deal on a set of xtrigs. Not sure whether to pull the trigger if they wont fit on the new bike.
They should fit the frame. The forks will fit. But I don’t have any confirmation yet.

Just wanted to put out there that I have rode my fe twice now. Coming off of a 16 kawi 450 the bike feels so light and nimble in comparison. The forks are so much better. Very happy with the bike so far.

That was the problem then. I emailed my dealer a huge list of parts the first wk of Feb and then the rep told me that he had heard the first run of them sold out immediately and that I had better hope that my dealer got my order in on that first run. I called them after speaking with him and they said it was absolutely ordered because they had received and email confirmation of it well before I got my bike. They called me on Tuesday and said it would be here on Friday (today) That being said I didn't get a pipe until June for my 15 FE and all it had was a 2 stroke air filter cage, Tokyo Mods remap and Renegade SX4 and my bike was a rocket and had way more power than I'd ever use so don't worry your bike will be PLENTY fast without a pipe on it :-)

It's just about 2.5" longer than the stock can but way lighter (2+lbs lighter) I'm going to adjust the TPS this afternoon and ride it at Winchester in NH on Saturday and I still may cut that 2.5" off of it but I won't know until I ride it. It's definitely not longer than last yrs because I'm putting a FMF slip on on a 18 350SXF right now and the cans are the same length. It's the smaller number plates on the new FE showing so much more of the can that is making it look enormous :-)

Let us know what the slip on does for the 350SXF. And a ride report please. ?

She barks now that the TPS is adjusted. Not much louder than stock but just has a meatier sound down low. Very crisp and quick revving now. Sounds great as far as 4 strokes go. I much prefer the sound of a 2 stroke... :-)

No Trax for me this yr. I actually sold my Trax halfway through last season. I'm just not fast enough anymore to take advantage of the benefits of the Trax shock. I feel that the revalved stock shock is awesome and one of the best rear suspensions that I've ever had. It does nothing wrong and in my opinion has zero weaknesses.

Who did the revalve? I've read that the stock shock on the fe is amazing

Looks killer, be interesting to see how your cones feel with the new Chassis and whether they will need a revalve.

Have had mine for a few days. Was able to start going through it and put on some parts.

Found 1 thing I was sure would fit that doesn’t. The Ride Engineering steering stabilizer mount kit. Top fits perfectly, actually better than it did on my 16, The bottom part where It doesn’t line up. Just a heads up!

It was a late night, must have had it lined up awkwardly. Fits perfect.

The new husky number plate has to be cut for it to fit. Had to cut the yellow fork guard part for mine to work
