I'm not going to copy/paste the OP, buuuuut.....winter training in SJ? As if it's drastically warmer than North Jersey? Most fast guys go to Florida for Winter AMs. Still cold as shit and sand still freezes.

Exactly what I thought when I read that, still freezing temps and frozen ground. Some areas have really deep beach sand but most I've ridden have a harder base. Which will freeze and you will be skating around on ice in no time.
South Jersey is almost always 5-10 degrees warmer then North Jersey where I live. Ive driven down and trail rode or rode sandpits a few times a month for the past dozen winters and unless there's snow on the ground have never encountered this "frozen sand" you speak of. Obviously if it rains or snows we wait til it dries up or warms up a few days but yes SJ is substantially warmer and ride able almost all year round.

Agree- weather was always a tad warmer down there. Likely because it is so close to the ocean and not inland.

On LBI right now... was really an amazing day. Blue sky... Nice breeze and the water was even warm!!!

Used to ride Chatsworth, Gliddens, Waretrown, Bone Hill... Etc etc... After getting hit with a hefty fine I stick to etwon.

Anyone know who's track that is behind pals in egg harbor township? Would love to join or pay to ride there since it's about 20 minutes away straight down the pike.

LBI is my favorite Jersey beach town. Man! I can't wait to get out there. It sounds like you had one of those perfect summer days. We boat out to Island beach state park, Tice's shoal. It is such a cool spot!

I'm sure you will find many private tracks around that area. A track opened up at Millville speedway that is alright. I love me some pine Barron's riding though! Growing up my dad always use to take me to the forked river area but for some reason we started going somewhere else. Been going there awhile by myself so I know the area pretty well now. It's in lacy township exit 69 off the parkway. A few big open areas with some jumps and so many corner/whoop tracks around the whole place. Tons of fun trails as well. If you let me know what week in August and there isn't a race I want to do that weekend I'll come down and ride! Also there is the Clayton pits, never been but it looks alright. Doesn't look nearly as big as the place I go but you won't find 150 ft jumps where I go.

I'll be praying for rain that week if you decide to come ride!
Hey NJracer, could PM me or email me...wanted to ask you something about this riding spot. Couldn't figure out how to message you.

Do you have any more information on Lepis Land like who to contact about riding there? I found there facebook page but you can't send messages to it and there doesn't seem to be a phone number. I'm new to New Jersey so I'm always looking for new places to ride and new people to ride with.

There used to be a really fun supercross style track that a bunch of local guys maintained here:

39.752609, -74.255011

Looks like they turned it into a new development now. Bummer. I used to go out there after midnight with a backhoe and rebuild all the jumps from time to time.

Here's a pic of me 6 years ago there:

Where does everyone ride in Jersey now. I'm just moved to Middletown NJ about a year ago and I'm always looking to meet up and ride with people.

While spending all of Sunday a week ago trying to track our 6 stolen bikes... we came across a bunch of riding spots out in that Vineland/Millville area. There was a huge sand mine that looked like it had awesome trails and a couple of legit tracks setup in there... anyone ride that? A few of us despite the shitty situation, mentioned that area seems like it'd be awesome to live in for riding if it weren't for the scumbag thieves.

There's actually 3 races held by the ecea in that area, I know the one is Sierra Sands that one has a small motocross track I forget the name of the other 2, I don't think you can ride in those spots only on Race days but I could be wrong not from the area. You could probably look them up on their website, they don't even want you to wear GoPros at those races because of land issues. The one in the Egg Harbor area pulls huge crowds cuz it's usually the first race of the season.

Do you have pictures of the bikes that you can post on here so we can all keep an eye out for them? I've had bikes stolen from me and my family also in the past when I lived in PA.

Cut the locks and emptied the trailer, they cut the fence in the back of the parking lot and wheeled them out that way. They actually crossed what looked like like a cool sand pit, I wouldn't have minded ripping around there actually! It was the Holiday Inn Express in Vineland NJ.

Yea I've done the opening ecea enduro round for a few years now.. that go pro rule is strange but it makes sense to do what they can to keep those trails nice. They're awesome. The Hammer Run is a dual sport ride that my buddies have done a few times and said that its an absolute riot to just go hammer those trails for a couple days. They do an awesome job with it.

I always use these locks on our trailer there's no way of cutting the lock off but I'm sure they figure out another way to get in

Unfortunately that area & hotel are known for having bikes stolen. They stalk it when it's warmer, during race events that are going on at Field of Dreams. Total scum! They may think twice after someone gets blasted in the act.

unfortunately you can't just shoot somebody for stealing your s*** not unless you want to spend the rest of your life in jail. Jersey's one of the few states that I don't carry a gun with me they have some pretty tough gun laws , doesn't seem to cut down on crime though.
