That's awesome.

FINALLY Steve! Good for you. Speed and form is still there, and we can work with speed. Seriously put a smile on my face to see that. Once you get the bug, it never goes away and all it takes is a couple good sessions to get you hooked again.

And Keefer, thank you. We all know you played a key role in getting Steve back out there. Your love for the sport is courageous, and it even worked on Steve.

And even better Steve, now you can chat it up with Cole about what it's like riding around with a blown rear shock. Laughing #skidplatelife

Watching Toronto Maple Leafs and Austin Matthews must of motivated him to swing a leg over a bike again. Matthes does a good job i like his work, talked hockey with him online back around 08 or 09. Really nice guy.

Pretty easy to forget Steve is a former pro racer and factory mechanic. He's had a long career in an industry that eats people alive.

Now that made my day yesterday. Very cool Matthes. My only regrets are when I quit racing for so long after getting injured in 83. No regrets Steve. Moto fixes everything - even a big ol belly...errr I mean chicken cemetery.

I could be wrong but I think Steve stays pretty busy...then traveling almost every weekend which likely means lots of eating out. It is hard to stay on top of weight when work takes over your life.

I'm just happy to see him out there riding!

Cool that he rides, actually it might be good in a training way to get rid of some weight =) not bashing on him but he might need to think about certain things, life can be roughly shorter otherwise. Cool that he will test with big bore keefer!

How do these "larger" riders do it? At a local race this spring there was a rather large guy motoring around at very decent speed (I mean this guy is fat - not phat). I was envious.
