Soooo last year when Eli beat all the GP guys by 45 seconds at 2 races winning all 4 Motos, including AC222 who is beating Herlings in the WC. The internet must have quit working for Euros during that period. Herrings was good today, but if you think Eli was sending it you are delusional.
No offense but you're a trash talker.
You're just typing trash to the only purpose to justify your idols performance yesterday. Cairoli last year was even struggling to hold the 2nd place in the championship due to an injury but you really mentioned him?
You must have not watched last year MXGP class I hope. Any chance internet was off for you last year?

Glen Helen is nothing compared to what Herlings did yesterday on a new track for him as a rookie. What I saw was just another crash from Tomac trying to match Herlings speed, did you see that or better not?

and now just don't expect to see Cairoli pushing like an amateur to the USGP next week expecially after yesterday Tomac was nearly to throw the umpteenth championship on the rubbish bin again.
You might not like it but Cairoli stopped trying by Loket GP this year.

The funny thing is, everyone is comparing him to Tomac.

At the end of the day Herlings still not only beat Tomac who was clearly just riding for the championship today especially in the second moto, not the race win (and fair enough) But Herlings came from last and ran down Marvin, the man who has consistently shown he is every bit as fast as Tomac this year and also he ran down Baggett another rider who has shown he is the best of the best in the American MX right now.

Both Marvin and Baggett were riding at 100% knowing they had to beat each other and win the moto and hope for a mechanical, they were going for it and Herlings came from second to last, passed the entire field and won the moto.

That is bad ass.

Every chance Tomac wins the U.S GP's but also every chance he finishes 5th - 10th, so many great riders in the GP's and American MX.

if you are going to rip on someone for being dumb you might want to work on sentence structure. Not wrong but not necessarily the way a smart person would express that thought. Which of course a smart person would recognize as irony. In fact it may well be dramatic irony if we can assume that everyone caught this and is laughing at you and you are clueless to that fact and I'm just the dumbass who couldn't keep my mouth shut. That's a run-on sentence. They used to be for dummies but Cormac McCarthy made them okay. He wouldn't give a f*ck about the original sentence I pointed out either. He would tell me to shut the f*ck up just like most people reading this are doing. He rarely uses punctuation at all. So maybe you are an excellent writer with your own unique grammar and usage guidelines and are smart as a motherf*cker. Even if you aren't just say you are. And don't bother responding to this. Anyone. It will just get me going. Read Blood Meridian instead. Imagine the most violent movie you've ever seen. Multiply that by 100 and you get cormac mccarthys blood meridian. Just crazy violence and gore on every page. Now that motherf*cker can write.
Herlings made American motocross look pretty bad. Needed a Roczen, Stewart, or Carmichael to put him down. Trey Canard would have at least got on his ass and stayed there no matter what so it didnt look so bad. Villopoto would have lost. Then again him and Carroli make the gp guys look bad most every week the same way Carmichael and Stewart did.
Canard would have went out and just shifted up, shifted down, shifted left, shifted right and just throw her down. Throw her down!

I have been watching motocross for 30+ years and I can officially say MXGP has the best riders at this point. Herlings was on rails, tomac got out of control trying to keep pace and even moose-can did as well. Gone are the days of American riders of the likes of Ward,Stanton,Henry,MC,RC,JS and RV and Dungey.

He put in an impressive ride but let's not get too excited.
The MX2 class must be better than the American pro class then. No shame in that.

That makes no sense at all you can't compare that to what Herlings did.
So he jumped on a plane overseas, decided to ride on short notice, rode a diffrent bike (say all you want but thats harder than riding on youre own bike even if its a factory bike), coming to a new track, have less time to learn a track than normal and have a diffrent raceday schedule with less time between moto's

Im not saying Herlings would go 24-0 and i dont even care because he wont race a full US championship ever but you are comparing apple's to orange's. Put Tomac on a plane to a Gp on short notice and give him a Gp bike on a new track and see what he does then you could compare it

Tomac was not good at all and that's sounds logic for me. Pressure, ego, big picture ect.

Jeffrey had nothing to lose, Tomac had everything to lose (look the moto 1 and his stupid move, he is lucky).

Better bike for Jeffrey too imo. Good track for him.

Next week will be different.

Tomac Hangtown, Redbud, Southwick still better than Jeffrey.

Tomac Oakland was one of the best individual perf all time.

Maybe i m not very objective (fanboy weakness) Tongue

Which outdoor round is in Oakland?

SX is where the importance has shifted to for AMA dirt bike racing now. That is the key, less focus on MX, so you can be fast in MX, but if you cannot finish well in SX you will have a hard time getting a ride. Where as if you can go fast in SX but not so fast in MX (compared to the field) it does not matter, you will get a ride.

With an environment like that you will see MX riders in the US just not at the level as those from the MXGP that focus solely on MX.

Really?

1st in 1st moto
1st in 2nd moto

Hard to argue against that.

Of course the ONLY ones in SX :D

The other SX's in the EU are more like Arenacross.

Huh? Except setting all the fastest laps and going 1 - 1

Would agree on an extremely unlikely 24-0 though

Exactly what is the trophy they give out for 1 fast lap?
You could break it down further and say "who went through
section xyz faster" but then you'd need another trophy for that too.
They actually have one for that, it's the "WGAF" trophy.
I like MM but sorry, he was NOT faster today.
You don't go from last to first and and have to listen to drivel from
those that refuse to realize the enormity of the accomplishment.
You may not like JH but he killed it yesterday by any standard.
I think even MM would be embarrassed to stand next to JH and
say I had the fastest lap after that spanking.
JH would say, "and that fast lap got you what?"

Remember when USA was still great all went south from Obama's second term from 2012 and on. MXON? Now Europeans on European bikes even beat the Europeans in the USA. Today most Americans hate their own president because he likes winners and they burn their own flag in their own country and allow their history to be destroyed, loser psyche has infected the USA ! Good job Barry. USA will not dominate the MXON like they used to, when USA had a winner psyche. That has all been basically written over and one is a dissident if one wants the USA to be great ??? Now the Europeans dominate MX and crazy how affected the whole of USA has become including MX as a nation...

Herlings times were faster in all sectors of the track. He lost no time on any section of the track. Give credit where credit is due. Dude hauls ass. Why are people so anal about where someone is from. Are you a fan of motocross or just a fan of your home country. This goes for us Americans and those across the pond, happens on both sides. I'm patriotic and love my country but come on. The pissing match between series is so STUPID.

Show me 450 guy that can ride MX top 5 but struggles in SX ?

Isn't it the same riders that are somewhere near the top in both disciplines ?

Both Bogle and Tickle come to mind. Bogle especially, he has done pretty well outdoors this year and had a throwaway SX season.

"Exactly what is the trophy they give out for 1 fast lap?" nothing but the fact is Marvin was the fastest rider at Ironman whether you want it or not. End of discussion. Basic logic like 2.07 are better than 2.08 or 2$x2$ = 4$

Idgaf about grammar when trying to type fast as possible on a phone.

4 out of 4 vs the entire GP field LAST YEAR. We will see what happens next week.

Also no one starts a sentence with and.......
No one starts a sentence with a conjunction? Are you freaking serious?

Dude ... quit while you're behind. It is amazing the shit people will write here.

Hahaha, I picked up on that too. "Who" can never be a direct object. But I figured that was a bit advanced for him to digest, so I let it go. (Aww, damn, I began another sentence with a conjunction.)

Bingo, there are plenty of examples. How many times in the 250 class do we see the SX champs not able to recreate the same success in MX? This year Osborne did it, but what about the champions the year before?

It is an advantage to be able to focus on just once discipline, and honestly, the Europeans train just as hard as the AMA riders and I believe they will be the more dominate force on average in MX. Of course I am lumping Europeans in one group instead of one particular country, that is the difference the US has, alot of depth out of one country. In the end being on the top step is what matters.

Roczen, Musquin, Pourcel, Ferrandis adapted I'm sure Cairoli would of managed at the right time.

All riders that can ride at a professional level are able to ride SX I'm sure. Again show me a rider that hasn't proved that ?
