And a ton of other changes! If you have the time check out the presser, http://www.ride-motox.com/2017/08/14/jetwerx-press-conference/ it's about 35 min.
If not, here's the coles notes version:
Travel money for teams at factory, satellite, and privateer levels. And a "team incentive program"
Better sound & viewing at tracks.
Better media access - wifi, food, etc
Saturday racing
More outreach - involvement in local visits - schools, hospitals, colleges
Start doing press conferences
VIP areas
And, new for 2018, it's now "Motorcross" and "Superrcross" according to the logos.

So far, I'm not sure that Jetwerx has built such a compelling package that we will see a mass exodus from CMRC.
CMRC's strongest asset has always been their TV production. These guys hint at shopping around a live package that sounds a long ways from a sure thing.
In a perfect world, everyone would get along. We can only hope that whatever comes to be is an improvement.
As far as if/when that production ends up on TV, I seem to recall that being discussed in the original announcement but can't find it now.
Fake noose.
I saw the Superrcross one first and thought maybe it was a trade mark thing. Then I saw motoRcross.
so rockstar is pulling out of Cmrc? and starting their own series that pays 100k?
100k per race? or 100k for the championship?
So a canadian sx and mx series?
Pit Row
I watched every round this year and it was some good racing. There were a few riders (Clason, Epstein, Maffenbeier) that really surprised me with their speed. Would like to see Maffenbeier come down for the last few nationals to see where he stands.
Edit, google is my friend, duh

Conx2sgare sounds like it will be back next year. And yeah the announcing is great, little creepy on the girls at times. But I don't know if they'd bail on the cmrc. Or if jetwerx might want new guys in for fresh blood.
No they're not starting their own series, they are sponsoring the one jetwerx is starting. Jetwerx already runs multiple series in Canada and the US.
The 100k I'm a little fuzzy on, not 100% sure but I think it's the total purse for the 3 championships. But it also sounded like it could be $100k total payout for winning the 3 series. Pretty sure it's the first option though.
And in the middle of no where for a national.
Privateers already struggle to put a budget for a couple months in the summer with a series that travels coast to coast 1 single time. With this they would need to commit to a full year of racing that crosses the country multiple times.
Personally I get what they are trying to achieve but I don't see it working. They won't have a problem filling the gates with local talent but that's not what they are after. They want national caliber racers at their events in order to put on a good show No problem for the bigger teams but a lot of the talent racing are privateers with small budgets.
The MX series should go to a 12 round series. A lot easier for families and riders to take time iff during the summer months when people take vacation and the kids/students are off school. We see American riders and foreign riders come up and race the Nationals every summer. I highly doubt you'll see them commit to 3 different series.
For those thinking/asking about supercross it'll be more the scale of the Australian SX series than the US series.
Personally I don't consider a 3 race supercross series a championship series. The Arenacross series is composed of 6 races which in my opinion is a short championship. Scaling back the MX series to 8 rounds I think is a mistake.
Don't get me wrong I'm all for growing the sport and grooming young riders in Canada but as they say you need to learn to walk before you can run.
Really big ambitious goals, they better deliver on their promise because if the riders and teams involved don't have a pleasant experience the first time around it can backfire in their face big time.
Rockstar Energy sees value in their program and that's why they'll be supporting them in 2018.
The new series will be bound by the CMA and the FIM.
I'm not sure what will become of the CMRC. If the teams all decide to jump ship then I believe CMRC won't have a choice but close up shop. There's not enough teams, riders/talent to have 2 different national series.
If the teams commit to the Jetwerx series they'll have to find more sponsorship as well because of the additional races. Crossing the country multiple time isn't cheap either.
We'll have more info on the new series in the next couple of months.
I apologize for the long text.
Cliff notes: take 2 minutes and read it.
