I left enough slack in the zipties to allow the tank to move around a bit.

Does anyone make shrouds without the texture in the center yet? I know Polisport has the texture at least.

Motocross Action had a piece about it... I've done it to mine. Helps out with the vibration at the hands a whole lot IMO

Has anyone tried the RX mounts as opposed to the R ones? Curious if they make a noticeable difference

Same here, how do they work? Is it worth the 100 bucks?

I like mine Factory connection did mine I felt stock front dived real low throw me off in ruts. Now feels like it works more through the stroke. I came off a Husky with Ohlins full fork setup and liking the showa once reworked

Same^^^ FC valved it to stay up in the stroke, yet plush and progressive through the rest.

I asked at the intro and was told they're different, that they're their own spec.

They are different & are thinner then the RX models. They're suppose to be the specs of the 17 R model race team.

Sounds like anyone with a 17 would be better off with the new 18 mounts instead of the 17 RX mounts then..

Would you say the 18R had a better flex/feel than the 17RX? curious which mounts would have the best feel

The 2018 CRF seems to be a great bike, easy to ride, we can ride this bike with an arm and a half.

I run the Torq Drive with the 12 plates and it's amazing Smile

Can you explain what is the added performance of the Torq Drive Clutch?.

I m looking for a clutch but I m not sure if is money well spend.

Please if you can elaborate a little review of the clutch.

Many thanks in advance

Basically the stock clutch pack has 8 plates (I believe) and the torq drive is a normal clutch (Not and AUTO like the Exp line) The clutch design and clutch pack make for a more aggressive engagement, feels more like a hit on/off switch to engage the power vs a slide on power compared to stock. Also, the clutch pack count makes for a slightly lighter pull on the actual lever itself which has helped slightly with arm pump. Hope this helps!
