Sounded like Jimmy Albertson.

In the pulpmx post-race podcast Weege said it was "wheels" or something like. I guess it's a RacerX contributor.

Albertson was the MC. At 3:27 in, he said "questions?", that is when the "wheels" guy spoke up and asked the question.

This is always illogical to me. If the top 17 guys weren't there, the battle for 18th would be the leaders. There'd be the same battling/feuding/drama but it'd be a different pace and participants.

The "what if" would have the same outcome. Two of these guys would be out of the limelight but would be going just as fast.

I sensed some back pedaling on Blake's part.

Big time....and that's why I thought it was so poodle the way he did it. It was a part of Roczens mentality so I never faulted him for bold statements....but Bagget just sounded like a tool that was trying way too hard. He seemed super uncomfortable the whole time that conversation was going on and wanted to talk about anything but his comments........"We're just so lucky to be racing motorcycles for a living".....like wtf, be a man and stick to the question Bagget. He made his bed, now he's gotta sleep in it......and sounds like he's made a fair amount of enemies in the process.

Yep baggett had turned himself into the villain of this top group. Makes it exciting tho. Can't wait for the races. To many freakin years of Dungey spewing rainbows. Glad we got some attitude out of some of em.

Hell Baggett actually kind of won me over as a fan. I think Tomac is a certified badass but as soon as everybody handed him the pre season crown it soured me a little bit. Anderson I'm kind of ambivalent about but its great to have a third player in the mix and who knows maybe Marv will get back in the mix also. I hope Blake and Eli battle right to the bitter end of this season!

I think Baggett needs to turn it up a notch. Just to make things more exciting.

This may have been mentioned/pointed out, but in the interview where Bagget talks about "breaking" the other riders, he is mentioning how that's what Tomac has done. When he gets out in front, he pulls away and breaks riders, because they think they can't catch the rider out front. Meaning they break them. Which has been pointed out time and time again by the announcers how that is what is done by Bagget/Tomac/ Carmichael/McGrath and other riders. Simply saying that he is trying to do what Tomac has done before. Why is this such a huge offense to everyone?

I agree with you there. That is where my question stems from. People keep bringing up the break him comment as the reason and how terrible it was of him to say it. People just look for ways to be offended.

It was good all round. Good to see those asking questions found their balls.

I must be some kind of rotten SOB then because when I'm racing and making passes, don't just want to break them, I want to crush them so bad that when they see me line up next race they're beaten before the green flag flies

Based on supercross we really didn't have any reason to think differently, guy was in a league of his own for most of the season.

It was a reminder that these guys really aren't too far removed from being teenagers, despite the polished image they usually push so hard. BB trying to push his obviously prepared "ha ha it's all fun and games u guise!!" backpedaling as Anderson and Tomac smirked and giggled was pure high school type awkwardness. It's a good thing BB was on the podium at ALL with the trap his big mouth has set up for him.
