A little concerned for Factory KTM. Ryan's retired, Marvin - knee injury, Trey still out but returning soon. Seems they need a replacement rider. Personally, I'd like to see Ferris picked up. Who else could they get?
If Marv needs surgery, Trey could find himself in a position of carrying the team. As much as I am a Canard fan, seems that KTM would be better off with adding a third rider compared to relying solely on 1 injured rider and awaiting Trey's return from injury. The odds seem pretty high that the team could be riderless at some point in the series unless a third rider is added. Hopefully Marv will heal quickly and Trey return to a successful season.

I think they will land another big contract though before SX starts.
b) I'm sorry to say but Trey has not been his old self as of late and with rumors swirling of an early retirement, I'm not sure how effective having him out there would be. Sorry to Trey's mom, who apparently reads Vital on occasion.
c) Racing is a marketing tool to increase sales and KTM is already killing it in sales. They can survive this "bump in the road". I mean, if they don't put someone on Trey or Ryan's bike...then what?
d) I think there is some history between Ferris and Roger and it didn't end well for Ferris last time around.

These are just my opinions.
I think next year BB will be under KTM Redbull with Marvin. I don't think they will have a third rider. If they do, no clue who it will be.
Marvin is no spring chicken by the way. He's same age as Dungey. 27 years old. Both born in December. Realistically Marvin probably has 2 maaayyybeee 3 good years left in the tank. Maybe 2 full seasons and then SX only after that.
Motocross racing is a young mans game and we will see several current guys start to drop off the map as the next wave of fearless youngsters take over.
Can't believe the Stewart nuthuggers aren't flipping out here.
