OP has grossly unrealistic expectations and shouldn't bother writing a bunch of dumb words without thinking twice before writing a bunch of dumb, nonsense words.

You're f*cking idiot. Stop using HJC helmets and get tested for CTE. either that or accept that your room temperature IQ limits you to 3rd grade reading comprehension.

I said I used wifi and cellular, aka switching different forms of service to eliminate broadband connection issues. Your only read what you wanted to see, and not the entire statement. Its called confirmation bias. Moron. I then said Im having similar issues at home. Home meaning you know, hardline connection, not my cellphone.
I don't know how you could have a worse internet connection than mine as I am in a village of 350 people in the ass crack of Canada (max of 5mb). And the service has been perfect. I haven't even had to kick my YouTube zombie son to disconnect to free up bandwidth. What service do you have? Were you using a public wifi hotspot?

I drank the koolaid. I paid the $50. I tried to watch hangtown on my mobile last week off wifi and my celluar connection and wasn't very impressed, to say the least. I did at least get to see some of the moto's which was better than nothing. A lot of buffering. I actually went to Glen Helen yesterday and saw the races in person, then decided when I got home it would be awesome to re-watch the broadcast so I could catch what I missed in person.

So far this NBC sports gold is crap. Its not worth the money. The streaming quality is poor, the sound quality is terrible (the audio comes through pixelated and not in sync with the broadcast), and why are there the repetitive "COVERAGE WILL RESUME SHORTLY" intermissions?! We paid good money to watch the moto's UNINTERRUPTED. It doesnt take a whole lot of editing for NBC to eliminate the commercial breaks and tie the beginning and end of the breaks together. Why should we have to fast forward through this crap? Why is it when we want to watch the moto's you're greeted with coverage will resume shortly? If its live I get that, but the replays should absolutely not be this way. Its terrible!

Ive also found that if you try to watch from the website, you have three or four different sign in steps you have to go through just to get to watch the moto's. Once you're signed into your account you're then taken to tennis, track and field, horse racing, gay midget porn and gawd knows what else. If I signed up for a motocross account, once I sign in shouldnt we be automatically taken to the moto page? Also when you watch one moto, there is no link back to the main page to see the next moto's. You HAVE to close that page, then go back through and sign in AGAIN and repeat all these steps again.

WHAT A PAIN IN THE ASS. (yes I called NBC and emailed. so far no response)

Worked great for me on wifi. The no commercials make it worth it.

Had it on my iPhone on the way home from riding, it was perfect and crystal clear on one bar of LTE service in the badlands of Riverside county. Worked perfect on home internet also. Seems like the service was solid for me.

But then I would have to buy a PS4 and I already have two xbox consoles. And then I'd have to buy games to play on it lol.

I am trying to sell my brother on the idea tho as his directv contract is about up and he has kids and a wife that would want other channels. All I need(want) is moto, netflix and youtube.

You don't need a playstation to get Vue. Roku, Fire Stick, Chrome Cast, etc all have it. Fire Stick is the best. $40 one time and you are golden.

Streaming is perfect for me. Only issue I had is it doesn't work with roku. I got a Chromecast, which isn't as nice to stream as roku. You have to use your phone, then cast. I have to close the stream on my phone quite often and restart it.

^^This. At least put a countdown timer on the commercial screen. Experienced all of the above, including FFing through moto 1 and then inexplicably taken to moto 2 - in the moto1 video. Incomparable to MXGP-TV. Second week total crap on a high end HTPC system with fast broadband.

Appreciate the effort, but damn!!

Correct. You buy the Firestick or Firebox (highly reccomend the firebox, processor is much faster). I elect to pay $30/mo for streaming TV channels with the PlayStation Vue app through the firebox, but this is TOTALLY UNNECESSARY for the NBC Gold app.

The Firestick costs $40 one time for the Fire Stick. Playstation Vue is a live TV streaming service with multiple plans. The plan we have is for $35/month (much better than the $120 we paid for DTV). It's the popular channels + sports package (includes ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC Sports, B10 network, local Fox sports affiliates, etc). It also has free DVR service. Its a great deal.

Let me know if you got any questions. If you got a shit internet service then things might not work as well. Full cord cutter here. Had DirecTv for a long time. So glad I don't pay that $150 cable bill anymore.

Good to hear! Glad it worked out! Amazon Fire Box is definate legit. Glad you didn't buy the stick. You just need more ponies under the hood sometimes. Any other AV related questions just holler. I'm
Also very well versed in Kodi. Though I don't believe in pirating content. Kodi is an amazing media interface to your pictures, music, and movies. And there is a ton of legit addons you can use for additional content.

Awesome everything is working good for you!

What are you guys finding to be the best way to cast it to your tv. I've used fire stick and it is grainy. I've used a Samsung S7 and mirrored the screen to my Samsung tv but it is of poor quality also. It looks crisp on my IPhone, IPad and S7 but want to watch it on my 65 inch tv. My download internet speed is 70 Mbps and the speeds are always consistent. Has anyone used Apple TV and if so is the quality in true HD. When moto 2 comes on NBC SPORTS it looks awesome but if I stream it to the tv from how I said earlier it's horrible.

Will do. Internet speed is good. I stream 4k on Netflix and game online with no problems(if those means anything).
My cable bill isn't really all that bad. I get everything I can to get all the moto I can but, it being Comcast, I don't get FS2. And that hurts because I spent $70 the last time I had to go to the bar to watch the race Whistling
Also, like an idiot, I added the tier with CBS Sports(it's actually on a different tier from all the other sports channels - wtf) to watch MXoN and haven't watched it since and won't watch it again until the next one. $10/month... DOH!

On topic: I don't really have any complaints other than I'd rather just see a live shot of whatever(nobody has to be talking, it's ok) than the 'coverage will resume shortly' screen.

It's worked great for me. I actually have yet to even watch what I recorded on my dvr. Only thing I wish it had was a backwards 10 seconds button and forward 10 seconds. Trying to rewind to watch something just a couple seconds back is tough.

Will do. Just got the Fire Stick on Friday. Next one we get will be the box. Wish I would have gotten the Fire devices instead of Roku, although Roku isn't bad. Fire products are better (menu's and guides).

On a side note, used to live in Plano back in the mid 90s. Nice place, good people.

As mentioned, I used the Fire box from amazon connected to my 65 inch Samsung SUHD and it looked great. At those speeds I think it would be awesome.
