Hey, any of you Bro's know how a fellow Bro could get his tanned and pumped hands on a Factory ECU for a two-pinger? I'm thinkin I really need one, cuz I'm only hitting the power bands in 2nd and 5th gears.

P.S. I haven't checked the color of the power bands, so maybe that's the problem??

2Bro, you should cut open your airbox, seems like your bike aint gettin that air flowing through that massive carb, and you could also throw kickass seatgrabs BRO

How can you tell if sprocket bolt failure is from the wrong torque spec or the wrong ecu? I checked in the manual and it doesn't cover that.

Thanks Sweede-Bro!!

Ima gonna take it one step further, and remove the air box all together. It does seem like the filter is getting in the way of the mega-CFM that the massive carb" is beggin for.

My bros...you have just witnessed greatness from peelbro.
There's nothing funny about exceeding yield strength bros. Practice safe torqueing, always use a torque wrench.

And to avoid any rule breakage, Harry Backbro you have full permission to run that sig line, glad to see someone got you a factory ECU after all this time.

This post amazes me. Thank you all.

Frenchmotobro...no problem. It was fun broing down with the bros. These bros can put a smile on your face. You just have to mention blown shocks, blown head gaskets, blown fork seals, sprocket bolts flinging around like Chinese throwing stars, factory ECUs, sagged out chains, pink powerbands, stock pipes stripped for the factory look, and entertainment is sure to follow.

JMbro, didn't get a factory ECU. I think they might be a myth...like the Yeti. Almost has to be. I mean, how do you explain JS7 not being able to acquire this supposed "indispensable" part? Further, what sane person would give up an offer for FREE air time on my signature line? That's the real mystery here. Let's plumb those depths and see where we end up.

Valdosta bro...I thought the powerband was green and the ECU was yellow?
Backharry bro... powerbands are dead. It's all about the color of your ECU... And like, you can only get certain colors in factory.

Been looking in the JC Whitney catalog for an ecm, one step above an ECU. Can't find one. But I did find an air cooled dipstick that increases HP. On my way to the top.

Anyone got a red factory ECU they'd like to sell?
MLBro, I have a purple ECU for sale. Maybe if you take a little bit of the blue out it might turn red? Worth a shot in my opinion.

2SmokeBro's, Don't forget to always run the yellow powerband! That's what JS7 used back when he was JS259

Don't forget to order some new muffler bearings. I run a size larger than stock. Opens up the exhaust a bit and creates a tornado of air. Instantly adds 15HP to any bike

Bro's just throwing this out there. Do we need a catalog of proper torque specs and color ECU's for any given purpose like hill climbing? I ask because I want to make sure I'm pulling the wagon and not riding the wagon.

Harrybro you seem like a knowledgeable guy and really down with this ECU shit so do you mind answering this question? I have a factory ECU with SX-map(the short one), my buddy says that I will lose up to 2hp with the factory ECU?????? Is it true? Can't show you pics of bike or ECU, sorry.
You need to trade the mx bike to a enduro bike. I've heard that the pipes sometimes interchange. Wait until you heal up tho.

So if I set my sag lower, over torque my sprocket bolts and flash the ecu, where would that put me in contention for the C class championship?

Lots of wisdom in this thread vitalbros....

Don't torque your sprocket bolts on arm day, and if every day is arm day.... protein shake 30 minutes before vigorous torquing.

Bout 10 years ago exploded a rear hub because of
Loose sprocket bolts. Landed from a 120 ft table to table and back wheel locked up over the next step up. Lucked out big time. Shit is no joke. I check em every ride now now matter what bike I'm on lol
