For some reason those photos are gut wrenching for me. What a great guy and rider. He did everything right, his entire career. Genuinely good hearted human. The underdog did it. People underestimated him his entire career, and he did everything that could've been done. Incredible.

Nice shots GuyB, that's a nice collection. Would be nice to keep this thread going with everyone's collection of Dungey photos throughout his career. It would make a nice thread for Dungey to browse when he's throwing back some cold ones at the lake. Now that he's officially done, I'm sure he'll appreciate all the many photos he's never seen of himself throughout his career. Post them if you have them.

How great is this photo? Just look at who else is in this single frame, when we will see something this stacked again:


One iconic photo that I believe will continue in motocross history is Dungey shifting his bike by hand:

Another one that should be in here, very Iconic, is when his bike would not start, he is at the gate waiting for it when the gate drops and finally starts walking back to the truck with his mom and before he would be eliminated, here comes the bike racing down the lane, he jumps on, has a stall, has to start it again, and then takes off, with his mom yelling for him to GO! He went from almost 1 full lap down to 7th place. Amazing, and the photo of it, you see his him riding down towards the gates, his mom yelling GO to him:
