Yea Eli interviewed twice before the podium. Even though he was trying to leave. Not much for him to say. Also are you upset that Ryan didn't interview after his 4th place in Seattle when Eli tied him in points? Leave the poor guy alone.

I didn't expect Tomac to speak after the race. Dick move to block the tunnel and corner him with a mic. If anything I would have expected them to do that when road block reed screwed Dungey a few races back

After such a race, hot interviews should not be like mandatory, i thought it was not respectful for the rider. The day didn't go his way but he was 1 rut close to salvage at least a third. It was just a big bummer. No e start also lost him 5 positions, he would have restarted 11th maybe he would have been less mentally impacted and put a charge as he is used too. I thought he was too nice to respond whereas I am sure he was devasted.

He was stopped for WADA drug testing by the official. The guy with the clip board is a chaperone, they escort them to take a test or stay with the riders until they take a test. They aren't permitted to retreat to their semi/RVs. He wasn't stopped for just an interview.

The TV reporter threw a mic in there because she isn't the normal on track reporter, she handles NASCAR more often and they go for the hot take all the time after a wreck/fight/finish. I dont think the first interview was planned, because it was just audio. The one later might have been.
