I'ts still not great but this is more of what I expected from him based on the beginning on his season Great ride overall. I would have liked to see him drop only one spot but dude has the potential to be great. Finally!

He had a solid race tonight, but IMO he hasn't had a bad season either. Considering he is a rookie 450 rider and he had to put together his own program, he has done well under the circumstances. Perhaps 2018 will bring him even more success (and possibly a spot on a factory/factory support team).

Hell yeah. Battled to 5th and dropped to 6th then with a few laps to go He got passed. Still rode very strong for 18 minutes which is a huge improvement.

Mookie has tons of raw speed. Will he beat Webb in the final standings?

I hope The Predator races outdoors, he would surprise some people. Maybe not consistently, and he may crash occasionally, but surprising nontheless.

That was an awesome ride by Malcolm!! I think if his conditioning was a little better , he would of kept that 5th place. He looked solid all the way up to about the 18:00 min mark , then lost a couple spots. But hell yeah....solid ride , and best ever finish for him. I'm pumped for the dude!

He has P5-P7 raw speed right now...and who is even prepping his bike? How good is the suspension? How much ongoing testing. I think it is very impressive.

It is obvious he is lacking in fitness. Can you imagine if went on Aldon's program? When did James have his best years? It's not cheap. It's not fun. But for a guy that needs training structure and discipline to be enforced, Aldon is effective.

Fantastic ride, great speed! Definitely one of the highlights of last night. He's getting closer.

Did he lose the last few places of the final lap? moto365racing.com's instagram mentioned something about a tip over on the white flag.

Hasn't he had well documented medical issues that negatively affect his stamina? Wasn't that part of why he had done indoors only the past 2 years? Is it known if those have been resolved completely?

Was at the race. He's my favorite rider so I my eyes were on him about 95% of the main. Rode awesome. Started 6th went to 5th. Seely then got him but Malcolm latched on and matched his pace and then got him back then grant ended up getting him. He was in 6th when he got the white flag then fell in the right hander before double dragons back. He had 6th in the bag but got passed to 9th when he fell. Still awesome. Just watch the heat races, dude has raw speed as much as anyone but lacks on the fitness side. Hopefully he gets a good program for next year

Hes way too fat and out of shape for outdoors. Its the end of the road for Mookie and Stewarts.

Yes, especially with regards to hot weather, ie: Summer!

Also put into perspective that he came into the season behind everyone and is keeping up and not letting down. He rides his race keeps his nose clean and I feel he is proving himself. IMO he is doing great and is just gaining momentum for the next four races to come.

this is definitely the case.

it's an all in or all out sport

maybe teams would be more apt to sign him if he showed at least the commitment to them to bring his best self forward physically.

Is he sitting out the Nationals again?

Whats most impressive is almost every week he is transferring straight from the heats. Only a few semis and hes won those. For what he threw together to make it happen, he is increasing his value every week for the factory teams looking to fill a spot next season.
