Big number 92 in my amateur days ( before AC92) all I had at time was 3-9s and 3-2s , I was not a fan of 29. Then I could not run 2 digits when I was bumped to pro class , so I was assigned 923 and have run it since 2008

812 always had it but it became meaningful when my wife (at the time fiancée) gave me a new KTM on 8/12/14 because she she knew I had the itch. She knew it was my number and planned it around that day so I would remember. Even drove to KTM world and picked it up.

93 was my earned CMC # in'76, I quit that year to "grow up", get married, etc....
Started riding again with my sons, racing by 1990, put the v in front of the 93
because I was riding the vet class by then-

I was always 98 because tat was the first 2 digit NESC number that I had back when I lived in New England.

I just added a 1 to it this week and now I am 198. I was tired of the look of two digits.

I started playing football as a kid and was given a random number. 44
I started racing in 1977 and ran 44h as my number, a pro had 44
I finished the season with more points than the pro had so the number 44 was mine!
I earned it so I run it to this day. It's my lucky number!

I started with #595 years ago as it was the playboy channel on the satellite provider I had and it just stuck. Switched to #71 as it was my brothers number who I lost in Dec of 2014. Will run it forever now.

431. I was younger helping someone change the oil in a truck, and reached down and the header pipe burnt me, and you could see the serial number burnt into my arm, and 431 was it

The business I own (bought 9 years ago) is Lighting 351, so I started using 351 as my number (the number officially became available to me 7 years ago.).
My first number was 191, back in 1980.
Ran 29 then 58 for quite awhile as they were national numbers.

On my classic 79 RM 400 I ran 3, Dale Earnhardt was my favorite NASCAR driver. (sold the RM last year)

77 - Started with this because it was easy to make as a stincil.
60 - Assigned NMA number. Won a championship with that.
404 - AMA amateur number. Requested 604 and got 404.
804 - AMA pro number. Request 404 and got 804.

Started with 724... my B day.

When i started racing in AZ I ran 24 because i didnt want to run a triple digit. then in 2000 i showed up to the track with my new 2000 KX250 with a 2 and a 4 to put on my number playes and there was already a guy with a 24 on a KX so problem solved i was 42!!!

Now i run 124 because i like the number and think it looks cool!

310, my dad is actually my "step-dad," but I don't even give thought to him being that to me, but March 10th a long time ago was the day he officially "adopted" me. So, when I started racing 50's he came up with that and I haven't changed it since, never will.

I like it so far, but have only ridden it on two NorCal tracks. It was sort of an impulse buy after riding a buddy's new Honda....had to have one. I think if I didn't already have a really, really good '17 YZ250f with a 270cc cylinder/head mods/FMF exhaust I'd be completely content with the Honda. But man the 270 is SO GOOD for an old guy like me, it's probably the perfect bike (for me). Great mid to upper mid range power..which is what I prefer. Only negatives - motor a little rough at pit riding speed, and the clutch isn't as smooth as the Yamaha. Obviously someone with a higher skill set than me could ride the Honda closer to it's potential, but even for an old dude it sure is a blast to ride.
