About to start. Vinales looks pretty stressed about rain. Should be good.

Good racing in moto 2 and 3. Have a feeling we are going to hear alot of John Mcphee. The british annoucers love to say the brit or scotish names.lol! Two years ago it seemed like I heard Danny Kent name atleast a 100 times a race.

Was kind of disappointed in Marquez kind of being blah the whole race. Good start on the yammer for Vinales.

Great race,

Take aways

Zarco was a nice surprise.
Vinales is the real deal.
Marquez didn't have it today.
Val still does.
Crazy Joe is always fun to watch regardless of the brand.
Cool to see Aprillia starting to show a little.
Lorenzo??

I hate that it comes down to tire management but it does keep it interesting. No way Zarco could keep that pace up but it was fun while it lasted. Lorenzo 11th? Never did like wet or damp tracks but surely he could have done better even after going wide early. Hope this bodes well for Yamaha's chances. Still a Vale fan.

I'm not so sure Zarco's softs wouldn't have lasted, Dovi's almost did even with the Ducati power going through them.
A good start to the season. Only a fool would write Lorenzo off after just one race but Dovi must be feeling good right now. Wall anyone?

I'm a little puzzled by Zarco' s get off. Losing the front like that seemed strange. He even said he had dialed it back that lap. Apparently it's the fronts that wear not the back. I imagine the Ducati pits will be a little tense.

I don't think Ducati can be to happy. That track has to be one of the ones on the calender they have a check mark by. Dovi has been third three years in a row Lorenzo 11th, he was up to ninth and said in his interview that the bike got to physical. He is going to have some more rough races until he learns all of the characteristics of the Ducati........... The rookies looked pretty good but, it's hard to tell cause the Yamaha has got to be the easiest MOTOgp bike to ride. Look how wel lthe Tech 3 riders do every year. It was cool to see redding and miller and the Aprillas in the top ten.

Good for Dovi, not a Lorenzo fan. Did well in testing but it's not an M1. We'll see if the Duc suits his style. Looks like Crutchlow is back to his old tricks. I'd like to see him do well. Trying too hard to compensate for sub par bike = crash. Good for KTM, good for Moto GP. Best racing on the planet.
