I think he's trying to get some time in the saddle and not get injured again. It's been a terrible run for him and another serious injury might be the end of his career in terms of getting rides on top teams.

Hope he stays healthy and continues to get stronger for the Outdoors.

Listen up RutSlut.

Not all of us can afford to ride. Right now I certainly can't. 24 with a wedding and a house to pay for. It doesn't mean I don't love the sport or that I can't still throw down.

You come on here hating on one of the best ever in our sport and expect to not get called out on it. Then when you do you throw a hissy fit and call for that person to be clicked? Grow a pair you fucking twat

I have no idea what Trey's contract at KTM is good for...but if it's largely incentive-based with no big salary, he has to be in a bad place. I have noticed that he isn't posting his smiling face on social media nearly as much as he did when he was on Honda, so something is up there too. Overall, I hate to see a guy like Trey who has proven to be fast enough to win SX overalls ride like a mid-packer. Fear of injury? Lingering pain from past injuries? Not clicking with the bike? I don't know, but I hope he can put in some top-10 rides before this wraps up, or I doubt that he'll be on the team next year...and that's disappointing for a guy like Canard.

This dude just suggested that emoticon usage frequency could be a sign of being uncomfortable on a KTM.

I just noticed that he jumps "straight up" and coasts through turns now. He just doesn't seem to be charging as hard as he used to. Probably just coming back from injury. But it probably seems more apparent with him because of how aggressive he was on the Honda. Just easier to notice.

Dude, your sprocket bolts have flung all over the place! Your rear hub is now shattered! Better get on that.

Injury, age, bike change. The combination of those three things is not a recipe for success.

I would love to see Canard snag a podium this season in sx. But, I don't see him returning to form until mid outdoors. Look for him on the box and Unadilla. Always runs a good pace there.

He is perpetually riding into race form since returning from his crash at A1. I really hope he can just make it healthy through the remaining SX races and be ready for MX where he could be a consistent threat for top 10 and/or top 5 with podiums sprinkled in.

Cant be.... Newmann posted a picture in non moto the other day of his car wash. It's that time of year and business looked booming.

They were speculating on the Pulp review podcast that they wouldn't be surprised if this is his last year.

So it might not have been publicized or "official", but didn't he sell his place in OK to move to FL and train with the Bakery? Right about the time that DeCoster was supposedly making it so that Baker was a KTM exclusive employee/trainer? At A1, he was looking thinner than ever, especially in the face, to where I did a double-take... sort of like what guys look like after a full offseason with Baker.

What ever happened with that whole deal?

I don't think he was ever supposed to train with Aldon, people just assumed that when they heard he was signing with KTM and selling his property.

He probably can't afford to waste precious time hanging out with the Morans on Vital.
