Douchey as he was on here. It was still entertaining to watch the whole AMA vs GPs war. Meanwhile the CMRC is up here desperately trying to be remembered in any way, shape or form.

ive met Geoff in person, and he seemed like a decent guy, but i very rarely read his site anymore, as his articles are normally so biased and up youthstream's ass that there is no point,

His baiting of people on here was sort of funny at the start, but it got boring fast,

and btw, the MX media in the states is a bit bigger than JT, Mattes and ML,

Someone unconfuse me...

Is the OP Geoff?
I thought that at first too. However it seems that he's just pasted what GM has written on his site. So those are Geoff's words.

If you both come to V'Waard I will buy you guys a drink. Because the last time I asked Geoff to pour me a drink, he said that a arrogant, big mouthed prick like me could do it himself. He closed the lemonade provided by the organization and putted back in the fridge.

So I picked the bottle gave myself a drink and some others too. Just to be sure don't count on Geoff if you're thirsty haha.

And you like the guy? That's a fucking dick move if I've ever heard one. Mattii , like I said before , you've always seemed like a strait shooter on here...so I'm not sure what connection it is you have with Geoff....but the guy is a strait up prick. I can't wait until the day I meet him...as I'll say it right to his face. You should always speak to people on here ( or any website ) as if the person was standing right in front of you.

Geoff being a prick on here but descent in real life...tells me he's a fucking coward that hides behind a fucking screen. Fuck that guy!

The announcement MX Sports and YS are working together is superb for the sport and one of the most significant steps forward for motocross in many, many years imo. I was genuinely excited when I heard the news.

It is a bit ironic that JT is saying that about MX Large though, given the fact Racer X and MX Sports are more closely related than MX Large and Youthstream - GL doesn't own MX Large.

Hopefully everyone can stop seeing it as AMA v MXGP  and can see it as AMA & MXGP  and enjoy them all for what they are  -  three brilliant series. They can all happily co-exist, even in the US media. USA is part of the world and should embrace covering the MXGP world championship, alongside their two brilliant series.

MXGP is fantastic and is a unique global motocross championship. AMA SX/MX racing is also brilliant and unique in it's own way. I think everyone realises now that the top GP guys are just as good as the top US riders, and as a consequence they all deserve mutual respect, and I see that respect growing amongst US fans, especially on this site.

I have met Geoff, Davey and JT (his insights on the race review podcasts are superb) all three are nice guys. Hopefully everyone can get along from now on...

Just to help clear up the story:

Most mxers think ALL of you "journalists" "newspaper" style mags miss most of the real stories because of cross connections in business and "friendships".

But we read it all, like most of it and take it a lot less serious than you guys!

No I don't like the guy but I occasionally bump in to him when I do some writing for Belgian and Dutch websites.

Obviously theres some tension in the air around here. It could be legit or might be overreaction. As someone who just popped his head in here for the first time just today, its pretty much impossible for me to really know whats closer to the truth.

So let me just ask the question that caused me to come here.

Ive been reading RacerX for MX news for quite a long time. But when I go in there now, I see almost nothing about current MxGP news. So Im looking for a new place to read-up. I really want a one stop place that I can see whats news in AMA and MxGP both. If theres a site that has a chip on their shoulder about one side of the Atlantic or the other, I would prefer just to go elsewhere.

Im not saying that there probably hasnt been legitimate gripes one way or the other. But I just want to read stuff about whats going on in both series.

We cover both ends, actually just stepped up our GP coverage this year with interviews, track previews and photo galleries...no opinion pieces though.

Thanks for recommending MX Vice! We'll be at every round from this point on (we just missed Argentina) and will be stepping up our podcasts really soon...

Didn't you piss Roczen off earlier this year by taking something out of context from somebody elses interview?.....

Can't we all just go out on a track to settle this and roost each other?

This season you guys are doing indeed great work if we talk about the race weekends! If you follow VitalMX and MXVice as Yank you are up to date. With all respect GateDrop is sometimes to much "fan boys writing about hero's".

When RV was in the GPs how was the coverage of the gps in America? It blew up, it was everywhere. He got schooled over there and left (make your own reasons why, I'm just stating the facts) when he left most Americans interest in it went with him but some mxers stayed interested because they liked what they were watching. American mags would be dumb to waste a lot of space on stuff not many people care about.

Americans won't be interested in the gps until there are legit American riders over there that could possibly dominate it.

The euros on the other hand have legit riders here that could dominate the American SX and MX series (lets face it Roczen was doing some serious schooling and the 2 French boys are doing pretty good)) so they are very interested in these series. Euro mags would be dumb if they didn't give their readers what they want.

If MXLarge would just reduce the unnecessary propaganda and be satisfied with just one exclamation mark on every heading it would be a big improvement!!!!!
