I wouldn't expect anything less from that douche. I'd say he might be a little bitter Alessi finished higher than he did.

What Mike Alessi did was embarrassing. Your kids are going to see that some day. Saying, "I didn't pull a Mike Alessi" is just fine.

Barcia has been acting like a child lately. I wish he could just focus on riding like he knows how to!

agree...his days of popping off will end soon...at JGR results are expected....yesterday.

I hope JGR can field a winning rider soon, hate for them to lose interest.

What's wrong with MA crying? I get that most wouldn't have been that emotional but the guy has poured his entire life into racing and as successful of a career as he has had, I think it's fair to say that he fell short of his expectations. To him, the heat race win probably felt like a championship. Who are we to judge his reaction in that moment. I have no issue with it. That reaction was as real as it gets.

Barcias point about aggresive riding is true tho.

We love it for entertainment and I think we need more of it cause it causes story lines and drama

But the AMA doesn't want it

Won a heat race, then what did he do in the main? Not back up his heat race win.

A really expensive tool.

Barcia does nothing to promote the JGR brand in a positive way. Coy must be really embarassed.

Bitch move but it adds drama which I enjoy.

Not starting a MMA / Supercross debate but the UFC isn't as popular as it is solely because of the fighting.

I don't really have a problem with Barcia's comment, I like a little shit talking. I also don't think it's that crazy that Alessi cried. He's an emotional dude, has had a very up and down career, and let's not forget he beat Villopto straight up in that infamous heat race. Maybe it wasn't for points, but it was still impressive.

Nothing but some midweek entertainment until next gate drop.

I don't know where you grew up, but most men are going to poke fun at a grown man crying. call it machismo or whatever you like, but I'd hate to live in a world without it. women are the empathizers.

I would expect my best buddies to razz me if a cried like Alessi did. Does that mean they hate me, or think I'm weak, or think anything other than, "hey, lets give him some shit"

Does everything have to be so anti-judgmental around here? I have no idea why Barcia even brought it up other than he's just trying to deflect, but who cares?

"who are we to judge his reaction?" -society, and everyone in it, thats who.

I don't think anyone at JGR is too happy with Barcia right now. He will be under a different tent next year if you guys haven't already figured that one out.....

Ah yes another fine example of higher education that this sport so desperately needs.

Either way, maybe next time it will be along the lines of "like yeah no, totally gnarly jacked for the win. I can't thank..."

Agreed, you could see how mentally taxing riding has been for him.
