he was fast as hell last night ,missed out by one spot in the heat by 0.5 of a sec . was in the lead pulling away in the semi and fell .then fell first turn lcq . But it not like he just rode terrible or something . He was unlucky with the lcq crash. He has showed some good speed this year , just very unlucky in a few main s, Anderson and MM25 both took him out when he was going to get a top 5 .

Glad to see you back kkawboy. Smile

In his heat race, where nobody passed anybody for a qualifying position, Bogle had closed the gap on 4th place Millsaps, but couldn't get by, trailing Davy over the finish line by less than a second. He spent a good portion of the semi battling with Martin, who eventually made the pass on Alessi, leaving Bogle as the 6th place finisher. He caught a bad break in the LCQ, but still tore through the field, and with another lap would have made the show. He had the speed last nite, just couldn't catch a break on a track that was difficult to make passes on..

somewhat related...when is Jason Andersons contract up?

RC spoke pretty highly of him and how he likes his style. Could we see Anderson go to RCH?

I touched on the Anderson subject in the JGR thread. Go read what I said over there (page 2). Short answer here...No.

It ain't like he ain't fast.......the speed is there.....just needs some good decisions and some luck.......speed isnt his problem as far as I can see.

It's racing......not every fast guy is going to get all the breaks......As far as this year goes.....I would devote 70% of my practice time to starts and starting. IT seems if you aren't starting up front consistently, your championship hopes are gone. There are just too many fast dudes. The top ten have the speed to win.

You can say what you want about Jason.......I believe very few will argue that he doesn't show up with his race face on and rides with anger, consequences be damned. Just like RC but with a hair less talent.

It looks to me like Bogle has the same problem as Seely, they are great riders, but not great racers. Both of them are fast as hell, but don't do a real good job of battling for position. Maybe Bogle needs to forget about his fall back career of rapper and decide that he's going to starve to death if this motorbike racing gig doesn't pan out.

You're comparing him to Seely? Seely currently sits 3rd in points behind only Dungey and Tomac. So tell me exactly how he's not a great racer? You're saying Reed, Anderson, Musquin, Baggett, Millsaps, Wilson, Tickle, Grant etc etc etc aren't good racers? Because he's beating every one of them in the championship. And Seely does fine when battling for position as long as it isn't Dungey, Tomac or Anderson battling him.

He's on factory Suzuki not making the main at Daytona. This is definitely a huge problem, for Suzuki and for himself next year and beyond. Contract is up, you can't rhyme free agent with leg swag.

The track sucked balls for passing. That's what screwed Bogle. He'll be back next race.

Friese beat Reed in his semi, that should never happen!

Everybody made such a big deal out of Dungey throwing his goggles. From where I was sitting in the stands, I saw Bogle throw his on two different occasions. Once at the end of the semi and once at the end of the lcq. Is he double as bad of a sport as Dungey is???

Yes, I am comparing him to Seely. Cole has great speed, that is why he is 3rd in the championship, and he really doesn't battle many guys besides the ones you list because he is ahead of the rest of them. Just watching the races, it seems like anytime the camera is showing Seely racing another rider in the Main, you can expect the other rider to come out on top. When Cole has a clear track, he is super fast, and I would like to see him pick it up that little bit more to be in the hunt for wins, but I'm not expecting that anymore. I haven't reviewed lap charts or anything, but that is my perspective. Justin, same thing, except I now expect to see him on the ground, gesturing at the other rider. And there is a difference between guys who are great RIDERS and great RACERS. Some guys excel when they have the track to themselves, some guys excel when they are bar to bar, doing a better job of maintaining their speed while getting the other guy to lose some of his speed. Some guys like to bounce off the other riders, some hate it and some just don't care. Some guys are good at all of the above.

Probably on double secret probation.
